It's an ergonomics thing. I've found that most folks seem to prefer the AGB over the AGS systems. I've only run into a handful of people who like the SP better in terms of comfort/ergonomics.

Personally, I cannot stand the SP.  It isn't comfortable at all for me :(

I've never played on an SP, it looks too cramped for my hands.  In my opinion, the last truly comfortable portable released was the original GBA.

Actually, if I had to choose one GBA, I would have to go with the micro as my favorite. The battery lasts forever on it, it's extremely portable, and even though the screen is small, it's very bright and has nice contrast. I would like a few more than the one I've got but I can't really justify paying the price people want for them.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

The micro is just too small for me, I like having a larger screen and the fact that the SP folds to protect it makes it perfect for me. (I may be biased though seeing as it was my first handheld! ;D) The only issue that I have is the lack of a headphone jack. Always seemed like an odd choice to me.

Yeah, I like the fact that it folds as well. It was nowhere near my first handheld, though. I've had all Nintendo handhelds, starting with some Game & Watches and original Game Boy through the 3DS. I even had a Game Boy Light from Japan. Never had any non-Nintendo handhelds and never had anything past 3DS (XL, New, New XL).

You of course know that they make an adapter to plug headphones in via the link (or was it charging) port, right?

Yeah, the charging port.  I think Apple really loved that idea........
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Ha! Nice one. As for the adapter, ya, I had one at one point but it eventually got a short in the wire. I think it was the fact that it had to be bent back around by the headphones and eventually that took its toll. Still, strange design omission (same for Apple as well).

Looks great man! Are you still in the cleveland area? I'm down in Akron and some day in the next few months would love to get some of the display stands (once I build a room to display them in lol) and if you're "local" enough I may just pick them up. Just like with the everdrive's the guy I buy from is in Ohio too, who knew lol

Yup. It's a little trick using the laser cutter. Cut the cartridge shell, a piece of acrylic to place behind the hole I cut in the cart shell, cut and affix the Zelda letters, then cut/etch and apply the gold label.
