Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

The SEGA nomad  ;D

Dang thing, taking up all of that real estate :(

Bah, way too much work at this point.  Would have to re-kajigger all of those covers, print em, cut foam an' shit to hold the systems in place, etc.  At this point in life I can't find time to finish making covers for stuff that's not even on the shelves yet, so re-doing things is off the table at the moment :(

So nearly 2 years later I'm finally finishing my shelving.  New molding, cut a piece for the corner in the pic, and the system drawer area finally has a back wall. Woo-hoo! :D Think I'm finally gonna paint them as well as my entertainment center plus add some track lighting (freakin' dark in my basement).

Looks really good there wiggy looks like your improving on near perfection! Just out of curiosity are you also building your gaming setup where all your systems are hooked up?

Thanks!

I have shelving that I made which holds a number of Nintendo consoles, and a generic entertainment center which houses the TV and most of the newer consoles.  Everything is gonna be painted white soon.  It's so dark in my basement and it's starting to bug me.  I'll snap a pic or two soon.

Some of you might recall that I traded with ol' Kelly B (N64guy) about 2 years ago for this.

Busted Panasonic Q.  One of the ribbon cables was torn, and easily fixed.  The real problem was the DVD tray brackets.  They'd pretty much shattered at some point.  For some reason they're SUPER brittle.

I did a quick and dirty fix to get the machine working when I received it, but I always wanted to find a better solution.

Enter Solidworks and Replicator 2 (which I didn't have at the time).  No need to try and mend the busted parts or make something by hand.

And done! :D

What are PMs? :P

Anyway, seems to work perfectly after a couple of small tweaks (printed parts are, well, not perfect).

Are you going to paint the actual removable shelves, or apply some type of liner to them?  It seems like the games cases would want to stick to the shelves if they are painted.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I'd go for a good stain / seal as opposed to paint. Covering up wood with paint always feels like a sin to me. :(
