--- Quote from: Dr.Agon on July 16, 2014, 05:15:26 AM ---what do you use to hold the cover-holding-film on? ive tried a few things with mixed results... --- End quote --- I used a soldering iron to melt the cover film to the case the same way that Wiggy did in his video. It works well for me and I haven't had any fall off yet. It doesn't look as good as a factory produced case because the seam is a little bigger than a normal case, but those companies have thousands of dollars worth of equipment to do this stuff. I have a $10 soldering iron. :-\ I can take a close up picture of the seam if you want to see it. It isn't perfect, but I'm happy with the results. Actually, the big problem I had with this case was getting the rivets to hold the three cases together. My rivet gun is junk and I couldn't get it to work (even though I could get it to work on my double UGCs....). I ended up using hot glue between the cases. It seems to be holding well and since I won't open this case often, I think it will last. |

Like I said, not as good as a factory seam, but it works. ***EDIT*** Factory seam on the left. My seam on the right. |
