I was also wondering, you probably save a ton on ink when printing your n64 covers as opposed to a regular cover, right? i figured that its base color was white, which means less ink. |

Wiggy, do you sell any shelving you make? Just looking at the quality of that paint stand you just made makes me think you could make some good money on the side selling your work. Also your collection and custom cases look fantastic. |

I got to see your white "Wiggy-style" n64 covers in action (I see them every day when I look at my own shelf). I think it looks great and just goes to show you what a lot of planning gets you in the end. It's so worth it because once you have all of your games cased and on a shelf, you can then easily see everything you own and figure out what you'd like to play next so much easier. I also liked your NES style covers (would be cool to do but I wouldn't be able to get those coversfor all of the games I have). I can't remember what it was like anymore having these games in boxes, hidden in the closet. Have you impressed any friends or visitors yet with your set up? Good luck with your future endeavors! --- End quote --- Thanks! Yeah, seeing everything cases now is so satisfying :D Was definitely worth all the time and trouble. My gamer friends do seem to like the setup when they see it. It's a good feeling :) --- Quote from: quickfingers818 on March 03, 2014, 09:11:35 AM ---I was also wondering, you probably save a ton on ink when printing your n64 covers as opposed to a regular cover, right? i figured that its base color was white, which means less ink. --- End quote --- Yup! A lot easier on the ol' printer versus the über black SNES covers :-\ --- Quote from: SegaAM2 on March 03, 2014, 10:23:22 AM ---Wiggy, do you sell any shelving you make? Honestly, almost anyone could make shelves like those with almost no tools and a little planning. Home Depot or Lowe's will cut the wood to length for ya, then it's just a matter of assembly (which was very literally just a hammer and nails for that paint rack). Also, I have NO extra time lol! Wish I did. Can't even finish my own projects lately :P Whipped up a Famicom template. Thanks to Azarkhel for giving me a little head start on it :) |

I, too, make my own shelving just because it fits to the exact size you want. Its not all that difficult, and its kinda fun if you ask me. |

That's my feeling as well. Plus you have the ability to make it to your exact specifications, which is really the only way to go IMO. |
