Looks nice, love how they look :o |

Thanks all! ;D They were super fun to do, albeit a bit of a time waster :P You guys think that people would buy stuff like this? They were easy enough to do, and could be a fun, cheaper item for us. If so, what do you think something like this would be worth to you, beyond the price of the game itself. Obviously some games are pricier than others, so I'd be more interested in what it would be worth to you on top of the typical price for any given game. |

It looks awesome :o and I love how they look ;D, but I prefer them with the original look in my collection (I like to buy thinks the way they are originally), but I know there's a lot of people that would like to buy them because they look awesome :o, so yes it's an item that could be sell and there would be clients for them. The price I really can't tell you because I don't know how much Would cost all the materials that you need. Don't know prices over there, so, won't Make any opinion on that ;) |

I myself would not pay more for an officially released game with a painted shell, however I have a friend that goes apeshit over colored game carts for snes games like the maximum carnage red. For a homebrew or hack, I would much preffer a painted shell vs a grey stock one. Maybe offer limited runs of the games you produce in a fancy shell, say 5 or 10% of the total amount made, maybe even sign the inside of the cart like Wozniac apple IIgs. Wigniac editions maybe :) |
