Heaven forbid I add any PAL games to the collection.

There is that one PAL only Super FX2 game called Winter Games that is not feasable to do repro of as it's the only game that is FX2, saves AND uses large RAM.
So there is one canditate for PAL game for you.
Only feasable mod could be to switch the lock-out chip to US one so it could be played on US SNES with the higher speed and without borders.

Sorry I meant Winter Gold.

There are other PAL games that I actually want. Winter Gold isn't a game that I care about, just that it is a good donor for Star Fox 2 ;)

I'm 100% sure ill be reprinting my SFC covers using this revised template, but I'm not 100% on the SNES repro cover idea just yet. I wanna tweak it some more first before I commit.  Just thought it would be nice to differentiate the repros as well since I'm already doing the JP titles.

Why not...  If you're gonna separate the covers into 3 regions (US, JAP & PAL) the "4th region" of repro would fit nicely.

Because it means I have to reprint about 20 more covers if I do on top of the 25 or so SFC games. That's a lot of paper and ink :/

That I know, as I have sacrificed 2 for that: One for "Doom Edition" but with save, and another for Over-clocked version.

Yeah, I was talking to Palmer about it, and he gave me what I think will be a good idea. Gotta mock it up now. If it looks good, I'll totally end up converting them all.

Bye-bye extra ink cartridges :(

Yeah I'm fearing the day when Onion cases come out and I might have to re-print all my covers. :'(

re-print + covers waiting to be printed =  2000+

Oh dear!  Yeah, I'm stickin' with UGCs for the foreseeable future. Switching would be a HUGE undertaking. I've got about 625 UGCs on my shelves right now. No way on Earth I'm ever gonna start all over :-[

Have a handful of otherwise unused solid SFC titles sitting at the office, so I thought I'd spruce them up a bit so we have something to play when folks visit the office (which seems to be happening a lot lately). Still have a few others to finish up. These were fun to do :)

Thanks all! ;D  They were super fun to do, albeit a bit of a time waster :P

You guys think that people would buy stuff like this?  They were easy enough to do, and could be a fun, cheaper item for us.  If so, what do you think something like this would be worth to you, beyond the price of the game itself.  Obviously some games are pricier than others, so I'd be more interested in what it would be worth to you on top of the typical price for any given game.

It looks awesome  :o and I love how they look ;D, but I prefer them with the original look in my collection (I like to buy thinks the way they are originally), but I know there's a lot of people that would like to buy them because they look awesome  :o, so yes it's an item that could be sell and there would be clients for them.

The price I really can't tell you because I don't know how much Would cost all the materials that you need. Don't know prices over there, so, won't Make any opinion on that  ;)

I myself would not pay more for an officially released game with a painted shell, however I have a friend that goes apeshit over colored game carts for snes games like the maximum carnage red. For a homebrew or hack, I would much preffer a painted shell vs a grey stock one. Maybe offer limited runs of the games you produce in a fancy shell, say 5 or 10% of the total amount made, maybe even sign the inside of the cart like Wozniac apple IIgs. Wigniac editions maybe :)
