Funny you did a Chrono Cross cover, I did one for myself the other day.

<img removed for space>
Really like the back on yours, much better than the retail version IMO.

Ooop forgot to upload it for you, here ya go: http://www.mediafire.com/?10dn0lspoalpq9n

I was going to do something new for the front as well, but I had a real hard time trying to find a really high quality logo for it and that kind of killed my enthusiasm haha.

Another brief round of some PS1 conversions:

Legend of Mana

Parasite Eve

Parasite Eve (Option B) - Difference here is the 3-Disc icon on the front.. which is lacking from the retail cover which is odd since PE has 2 game discs and a bonus preview disc... should have at least had a 2 disc on it.

Parasite Eve 2

Parasite Eve 2 (Option B) - Difference here is in the spine, Option B features a plain text name, which matches the "logo" from the front cover.

I personally felt the spine on Option A fit better but wanted to give an option. See below for how the 2 spines look:

Oh, other random thing -- scarmullet --- if you change your size in Imandix to be "CD: Paper Case 10MM (2CDs)" you'll get previews that are the accurate dimensions (but you lose the ability to have a visible case color)

Edit: Whoops --- went back and corrected the ESRB rating to M for Mature for the Parasite Eve games (didn't retake preview pics though).

Additionally have the following that I just need to tweak SLUS and ratings on so I'll have these tomorrow as well:
Bushido Blade
Bushido Blade II
Breath of Fire III
Breath of Fire IV
Metal Gear Solid
Suikoden
Suikoden II

(Again these are just conversions from the 8-disc poly ones that Soundwave had copied, some of the scans on these aren't the greatest (Suikoden as a example); down the road I'd hope we revisit these and get cleaner scans or full rebuilds.

Hopefully this one brings back some memories for any old-school PC fans:

I just received a big lot of old Star Wars PC games from an eBay seller today, and I've set up a sort of unofficial template so I can make all the Star Wars PC games match. I always liked the colored side banner on the games from the mid-late 90's, and it has the added effect of helping keep the art at the right dimensions, so all of my Star Wars PC covers will have the same front-side banner (different colors for each game), and the same spine layout, featuring a character or ship that is appropriate. I also have a little icon on the front right corner for which version of Windows it was designed for. On a side note, does anyone have a nice looking hi-res MS-DOS logo?

Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II is one of my favorite Star Wars games from back in the day, and I finally got both boxes to make both versions of it. The first version is for the original retail box, and the second is for the later re-release that came bundled with the Mysteries of the Sith expansion. I don't remember fighting Darth Vader, but who cares - it looks cool.  8)

Love the covers, and the template idea (loved DF2 and DF as well, favorite Star Wars game of that period --- even purchased the hardcover Dark Forces trilogy books)

As for the MS-DOS logo, got an example of what your looking for? quite a few different logos out there.

Somewhere between this

and this

I'm basically looking for the first one, but not made of pixels, and with shading like the second one. I could swear I've seen such a logo out there somewhere...

I also have the Dark Forces books, as well as the Audio Drama adaptations. If you haven't heard them, they're very well made.

And Dark Forces is pretty high on my list of upcoming covers.  ;)

The size is probaly fine, but it doesn't really matter because it's so fucking busted  :-\

It's either a really crude live trace, or one of those programs that take über tiny images and tries to soften them up. Either way, it didn't work.

Yeah the size is fine, it just looks.....cartoony. What I'm really looking for is one like the second one I posted, but upright and without the line sketches on the MS part. Surely there was a program or something outs there that had that logo.
