Another round of updates --- would have had it sooner but CS2 crashed on me and I lost about 2 hours worth of work which I swore I had saved more recently than I did.

A couple other background options, but all the various front options were shown so didn't feel like a I needed more previews. Can use just about any combination of the v2.x stuff with each other as well. 1.0 and 2.0 are closer to retail than 2.1 and 2.2, but those would match up more closely to other options we have in the Sega CD and Sega Saturn templates.

Small update today, settled on a layout for Legal text which I'm happy with for my unified templates, here's a few examples:

Well, to kick off the Sega CD covers, I'll start with a game that isn't even official - Sonic the Hedgehog MegaMix. I tried to give it a mostly retro/classic look, rather than using modern versions of the characters like I've seen on most art for the game. The Sonic and Robotnik artwork is from the currently cancelled Retro Sonic Nexus project. I also borrowed some elements on the back from djshok's cover.



I also went ahead and made a matching inlay for the game. Later on, I might make a label/lightscribe artwork to match.

I actually wanted to do the retro look myself, but couldnt find any art for Shadow.

Thanks guys! I just wish there were more Sonic hacks for Sega CD that I could make covers for.

By the way, is there a font that is commonly used on the back of Sega CD covers, or even across Genesis/Saturn/etc? Once I have a good font, I can start converting some of the existing Sega CD games.
