@soundwave925 - I grabbed my PS1 games and realized that they all have different inlays. For some reason I thought that some had some kind of generic inlay that matched that vertical bar that shows through on the left of all the games, but I was mistaken.  ::) Just ignore whatever I was saying... :P

Here's two options for Mega Man 8, based on the scan you gave me. What does everyone prefer?

Would it make more sense on the Sega CD/Saturn inlays I made to have the art on the right (under the disc), and the game logo and generic system background under the booklet? Or is it good the way it is? I don't mind changing it now, depending on what you guys think.

oooo the one with the black looks sharp.

you know with the sonic games I was thinking the same thing but i would be ok with it either way. maybe reverse them if you want to keep everything more consistant, but its all good with me 8)

Well having done it, I think it does look better and make more sense to be flipped to match the PS1 inlays. I'd rather have nice game art under the disc than behind a booklet, since the disc will be removed more often. Here's all the ones I did before, flipped and updated:

Anyone got a example of what they'd like to see on the 3DO template (ie a certain cover style of a retail box or manual, etc)?

I know a few pages back I threw a few possible examples out; but seeing as how I don't own any I figured I'd check with people who actually do own some.

I think it would be cool to see something similar to the one like the pal dvd template

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=5020

only the top banner would be on the side like every other template you made

EDIT: the only thing thats on the case or manual is a small logo in the corner or something

Went on a little inlay spree! I made inlays for Sonic 3D Blast, Nights into Dreams (2), Christmas Nights (2), Batman Returns (Sega CD), Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Sega CD), Star Wars Rebel Assault (Sega CD), Myst (2), Riven, X-Men Children of the Atom, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes, and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter.

I've made a new folder on my box account for New Poly Case inlays: http://www.box.com/s/d1d2e87ab3842645aee2

I found the hi-res art and logo online. I just made it because I've seen a few people who have cases for the game even though it was never released.

Still working on something similiar to Lish's template... but here's what I do have for now

3DO (R.E.A.L.) v1.0

3DO (R.E.A.L.) v3.0 2.0 was ESRB vs Product # on the front cover)

New Spine Shot

Let me know what you guys think

I've got both in there, the clear spine was a very late addition.

Additionally on the front the R.E.A.L. can be replaced with Goldstar, or can be removed entirely (which actually is my favorite)

Probably the last new template from me for a few days, in-laws are staying with us the next few days so probably won't get much time to be in Photoshop.

Having some issues with Lish's 3DO template so switched gears to a new system -- NeoGeo CD.

NeoGeo CD v1.0:

NeoGeo CD v2.0:

NeoGeo CD v3.0:

Spines:

Feedback would be quite appreciated.
