Pretty sure this is last preview update for the night... went and made a template for Jaguar CD; which I built based off a couple Jaguar CD manuals and a Jaguar CD Myst Demo case.

Jaguar CD: (Also comes with white spine w/black top)

I didn't go with the style of a Jaguar CD box for a couple reasons.
1) I thought it would take up too much space on the front.
2) I couldn't find any clean images or a template, so I would have been going off of the uploaded DVD styled covers, which would have gotten messy.

And another spine shot:

Going to go back on some of the others and put the "Game Title Here" in the same place for all of them; and make sure on the Japanese Sega Saturn templates to give the option with Argo's layout to have the red/black extend down as far as the others do.

Very nice! This is definitely shaping up to be quite a good choice for all CD-based games!

According to my UPS tracking info, my cases should be in tomorrow. I'm definitely looking forward to starting to case my PS1 games, and now like Azarkhel, I'm starting to pick up some loose disc-based games....some for systems I don't own...yet8)

Haha yeah, I don't even have a US PS2 yet but some of the deals people do on disc only PS1 games are amazing.

There a those who only buy complete disc based games, but for the gamer on a budget(most of us), there's no shame in buying disc only.

Little update tonight (don't think I'll have a Mega-CD preview tonight, but I suppose stranger things have happened)

Sega CD 32X (No clue why I didn't do this at the same time I did the Sega CD one... would have been much easier as pretty much all that was needed was the background and logo)

After Mega-CD pretty sure it's 3DO time.

I totally forgot CD 32X existed...  ::)

Here's my attempt at a template for Games for Windows and Games for DOS, using the template I've used on my covers in the past. I'm having trouble getting Imandix to display the previews properly, so here's a look at them. Pretty basic. The bar on the back is optional, if you want to put Minimum System Requirements below it.

Here's two examples, using the front and spines I'd already made for 2 covers I did:

I based the spine on Velmeran's orange Dreamcast template, so it should line up with all the others nicely.

Those look awesome as hell.

Hey TF, I have a request for you. Would you be able to put together some inlays for these cases? Im thinking with ps1 and Dreamcast mostly. I have the original inserts for all of my games so I would just scan them at 600dpi and then I was hoping you could size them to these templates. Since theres only an image on the right side where the disc is usually, I figured the left side would just be black or something. 2 or more disc games have images on both sides so you could use those with just a black bar in the middle.... i guess. Does this sound too difficult? I was always impressed with the way you worked with the UGC inlays and I use yours whenever you throw them up. :)

Those look really nice!
I use the orange Dreamcast template as the guide for how far the top logo should extend, so I assume they'll look nice lined up with the others.

Oh and who could forget those what... 6 games?

@soundwave925 - Sure, send me those scans. How about on the generic PS1 inlays on the left it's white with this PS1 logo? (I'm just saying white because it would save ink)

I've never had any Dreamcast games, but I'll go off of what you send me. Maybe it would be similar, with the Dreamcast logo on the side?

And for games that do have interior art, I can definitely make some, just send me what art you want. I'm sure I could throw together some inserts for the Sega CD, Saturn and Dreamcast Sonic games in particular.  ;D

@Velmeran - Thanks! You can always download those images and pop them into Imandix and see how they look next to your other covers. By the way, is there some way you can send me the preset in Imandix so that I can make previews? I might be using a very old version, but I can't figure out where to set up a new box size.

Yeah that's great.

EDIT: The Windows/DOS template is now up on my Box account: http://www.box.com/s/6737b10aa6c913679364

On Windows there are layers for "PC CD" and "PC DVD" that can be swapped when appropriate.

Using one of Imandix pre-canned options -- Cover Type is "CD: Paper case 10mm (2 CDs)" -- and using verison 0.9.3.0.

As for your covers... spines look nice lined up together.

Nice ;)

Should see the covers for my unified templates (Well I guess some of them did have the covers on them) -- for my FF and Zelda games it's just the logo on white.
Back... will have some stuff on it though, outside of the generic items.
