Yeah Lenkeng stuff is basically a "get you there" solution, you get what you pay for. I just got there SCART to HDMI box, it does an ok job on my LCD. My plasma actually handles the old stuff through a YUV transcoder quite well.

Is your TV 1080p? If so the 720p output of this might end up a little soft looking. It's hard to say as there's so many variables. Though realistically this is probably one of your only options for svideo at a low price point.

yes my tv is 1080p. thats ok if it looks a little soft, just something playable will suffice. I really cant stand how n64 games look right now, and also donkey kong country on the snes.

would there be any lag with this upscaler you think? theres is already a little bit.

If you want premium picture quality you have to use a premium upscaler.

One of the best is the XRGB3! Really nice product and makes almost any old source look beautiful.

I would love to get that, but arent they REALLY expensive? Is it worth it? Plus I dont think they sell them in the US do they? know anywhere I can get one? ???
