If this is gonna be locked at least leave it visible as to not have this topic repeated.
1+ Against watermarking
+ points to GCW for linking and being a rather reasonable bunch.
and now back to cover making! 8)

Haha they've got one of mine up there as well, how amusing. I really don't mind, it's the internet. Shit happens. The revisions to their website definitely make things clear, definitely a good gesture by them. Additionally they have some really nice covers of their own that i'd love to see on this site eventually.
+1 Against watermarking.

My Two Cents on the whole topic
Alright, i'll try and keep this as short as possible.
Biggest thing is we all need to take a step back. We all make covers for other gamers out of the kindness of our hearts. I don't think any of us actually took the time to contact the people at GameCaseWorld prior to making all these accusations of "stealing" work and "trying to make a quick buck" off of others work.
Their Prices
Selling each completed case for $8 a pop does not really leave much room for a profit margin. Rough Approximation : $1 per case, $1.50 per printed sleeve, $3 shipping (shipping worldwide), ~$.50 the little foam tabby thingy that make the cart more secure = $6 (not to mention ebay/paypal charges) .... PLUS cutting out the tabs are f'n annoying and they have access to and excellent printer and laser cutter. Its obvious this business is not in the 'game' for profit. Who really enjoys going to the post office anyway? I went a few weeks ago and had to wait over an hour just to ship one box ...errr
Worry What is in Our Control
We can't be upset about something that is out of our control. We have no authority to say that someone is "stealing" what we put freely on the internet. We have no rights to the images in the first place. I'm not going to go into all the legal jargon about copyright laws and such ... just take my word on it k ;)
We ARE NOT a forum of bullies
I can't stand a 1 vs. a million approach of everyone ganging up on one person. We are better than attacking one person relentlessly. I'll be blunt: Leave their business and the person that runs that site alone. There is no need for the incessant badgering. We had some problems with how their site gives credit for covers and it has changed.
The GameCaseWorld Website has been altered
There were a lot of complaints coming from our forum members about crediting covers. That site has given us ample credit for any of the covers we have created and if anything has shown over-the-top respect for our artists and community here. I was almost overwhelmed with the amount of editing they have down on their site. Pretty much any topic relating to cover-art mentions our site somewhere. Not all of the cover art used on that site is made by us and yet we are given credit almost everywhere.
Finally, The Lebron James Question: "What Should I do?"
Seriously?!?! What should GameCaseWorld do? In my opinion they have done everything we have asked plus more. We get a huge amount of credit for our work here. They are not really making any real profit. The person who runs the whole site is now a forum member here and is sharing her work with everyone else.
As I said before, I'm closing this thread tomorrow morning. If you are worried about where this thread will go; it will still be visible for everyone to read but no one will be able to post (except other admins, but please don't :) ). If you still want to continue discussing if personal logos and/or credit are appropriate for covers on our site then i would suggest that we make that topic into its own separate thread.
