The Ebay Topic

Actually it appears the listing was flagged due to me ONLY using a stock 3D picture of the complete case. eBay is apparently flagging it because customers might think its an original and not a replica case.

Ebay is so ridiculous lately. I've been looking for some Genesis games, and all I see are overpriced buy-it-now listings. Most of the asking prices are double what the most recent ACTUAL SALES prices are. One game I searched had 35 listings - EVERY ONE was a buy-it-now. Not a single auction. Another game had over 20 listings without a single one open for bidding.
What are these sellers thinking? "Hmm, the last ten copies of this game sold for $15-$20. I'll ask $40".
I'm not looking for a steal - those are few and far between. I just want to pay around the average value of the game.
I've found some decent lots lately - that seems to be the only way to get anything for a decent price. I can usually sell the ones I don't need to offset the cost of the others.
I liked Ebay better when they charged listing fees for video games. That way, people couldn't just endlessly clog up the site with their overpriced stuff.

Just curious, what game are you looking for?
As far as i know ebay still charges a listing fee, but for stores its only, like 5 cents.

The game with the 35 buy-it-now's and no auctions is Bio-hazard Battle. It usually sells for $5 loose and around $10 complete. I like to buy complete in box games - especially lower priced ones like this. It doesn't make sense to me to buy a loose cartridge when complete copies are just a few dollars more. Plus, there's no U.S. Genesis cover on the site for me to print.
