The car part-out auction actually makes sense, even though its unorthodox. He's using the auction as an ad only. He's not selling any one specific thing, just parts from the vehicle and he's clearly too lazy to list individual parts.

Laziness is the new killer on eBay and Craigslist. People often won't post a list and tell you to refer to a series of blurry pics so you can see what crap you're getting (so annoying with games) or provide nothing at all other than "trust me, this lot is worth it. Must see to believe". Yeah, must see our copy of Donkey Kong Country and 30 sports games. What makes it worse is that the market for retro games is so huge that these people can get away with it. Hell, I got those 3 Mario party games via a super vague "lots of NES/SNES/N64 games for sale, email me for list" Craigslist ad. I got a good deal, but it's super annoying playing guessing games and having to send a half dozen emails back and forth just to figure out if you even want anything that these people are selling, let alone be willing to pay their asking price (which I also had to provide, since the guy told me he was "only taking offers"). Making the buyer do all the work is fucking lame.

I guess I was lucky with my buys on CL.
None of them said the list of games in the add, but:
3rd (I'm picking this up next weekend) - Send a good picture, I just cant make out 4-5 GB games.
2nt - Sent a semi-poorly typed list.
1st - Atari games- No list but I did not care that much, happy to get a light 6-er for $40.

There are some deals on Ebay if you know what you're looking at.  I just won this auction:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281107953135?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

While it may look like just a lot of common games, there's one gem in there.  The "Venture" game is a super rare variation, as it says "for Colecovision and Adam" on the label.  Most were produced with just "Colecovision" on the label.  A CV rarity list shows this particular variation as a rarity of 9 out of 10.  It's the rarest commercially released game, as the only game that gets a 10 is one that wasn't available to the public.

I thought I was going to get it for the opening bid of $9.99, as there were no other bids until the final minutes.  Someone else obviously spotted it, because there was a bidding war in the final few minutes.  A member that I was chatting with on the AtariAge forums says that he would pay $100+ for this game.  Lucky for me as well is the fact that many of the other games in the lot, while common games, were ones I needed for my collection.  Plus, there's some nice manuals there too, and I love having original manuals with my games.

I just wish there was a Venture cover here that I could print for it.

that's pretty cool but my 1 question is this , why would a Japanese man sign his name in English?
not saying this is fake looks legit compared to pics of his signature available online just made me curious

Signatures are more of a western thing to begin with. Eastern countries like Japan tend to use stamps/seals for official purposes that we would use signatures for.

So signing things as a celebrity is often done in romaji (the roman alphabet that we use), but it's not universal. Off hand: Miyamoto, Hideo Kojima and Keiji Inafune (... I think. You can kind of make out a K, at least) all sign in romaji, but Eiji Aonuma and Nobuo Uematsu sign in kanji.
