Oh dude, there's TONS of that shit in my area.  It's fucking annoying as shit, especially when they're asking 10 bucks for a loose DVD-R.  At least go to the trouble of putting it in a green Xbox case and maybe an insert.  Fucking lazy.

Lol, those are bad but the ones I see a lot in my area is "Wii with 200+ games only $400"  You open up the listing and upon reading it you see that it's a hacked wii with all those games on an external hdd.  Same with the original Xbox...selling a hacked system with a bunch of "backup" games on the hdd selling for a lot.

Someone even offered to fill a hdd with a bunch of games for $300 and like $500 if you don't have an hdd and want the seller to supply one lol

There was a hot wheels car that sold for over $60,000.  I think it was a VW bus from the 60's.

Same here. It's total crap. Plus, like 2/3 of video game For Sale listings are these "I'll buy your used games for top dollar" asshats. One guy posts prices that he's willing I pay. Shit like $40 for Earthbound, and $15 for Super Metroid, and so on.  Jackasses. I hope moody actually takes them up on that shit.

Right, because broken systems are worth just as much as, if not more than good, workin systems :-\

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=330910423664&index=3&nav=WATCHING&nid=73342635044

Works out to about $24 per system. Derp.  Of course I offer $10 per ($300) and he the ol' insta-reject.

In fact, that seller's prices are sort of insane in general it seems.

i'm 100% for piracy for private use. modding is a respectable service as well, but making money off roms, actively putting a price on something that should be free is never ok in my book. i wonder how many times you have to report stuff like that before ebay takes any action. i've never even seen an item removed from the site no matter how obvious.

I'm just about done with Creg's List, I have currently 2 pending buys, One I am most likely picking up tomorrow, A Gamecube lot for $60, but another with a huge lot of stuff, I asked what games are included, he sends me a pic, I ask how much for a smaller portion of the lot, some very good CIB SNES games and a pile of GB games, no response for a few days, and none yet. I'm sending another email.
The GC woman never checks her mail, she says she only checks it once a day, and she gives me a number and never picks up.

The only thing I ever bought of there was an Atari 2600 for $40, His house was a pain to find but it was easy to contact.

It's hit and miss, that's for sure. Unless it's a great deal I'll usualy dump a seller if I feel like I'm getting jerked around.

And when it comes to selling I always make it first come first served. Telling a buyer that you'll hold an item for them is a sure fire way to get blown off and have it sitting around until you post it again.

Well, The Gamecube one worked out and I'm picking it up tomorrow.

The other one has CIB Super Metroid, Castlevania 4, Doom and Super Ghosts and Gauls for SNES. so its worth it, its part of a huge lot of 8 systems, I'll see if I can just get that and some GB games, maybe a NES with some games too. I got a message back from him, we will see how this goes.

I bought an Action Replay for Saturn in order to play Japanese games and the next day got a message from ebay saying not to pay for it because the item was removed. I was pretty pissed because I already paid for it and luckily the seller already sent it to me. They never gave me a reason why it was removed and I have seen some listed since then.

Yeah, I NEVER tell someone I'm gonna hold something unless they wanna pay extra.  A lot extra.
