Coins and old stamps are entirely useless.  Video Games are not.  I see it like sealing away a box of cereal or batteries.  That shit is meant to be used for something, not just stored on a shelf to look "pretty", which I find absurd since cardboard video game boxes are inherently ugly.

So, slightly off topic but I found this site today http://shop.gametrog.com/main.sc  and it looks like they have pretty descent prices, was wondering if anybody has bought from them before.

Also, its 1 thing to find a sealed like flintstones for NES and grade it but a whole nother to take a game that would be 1$ loose and pay 25$ to grade it.

this. this so many times.

i've seen this a lot in the trading and sports cards game, so many cheap cheap cards getting graded, especially when they're not even that good condition, it's just like, why even bother doing it.

there's certain expections, like boxed games for well known series but usually, it's just pointless.

Not used them before, but they do have some excellent prices.  Have just sent them an inquiry to see if they are still trading, as the link to the ebay store doesn't work any more.

Hey dudes, have some old sealed PC and Commodore 64 games on ebay if you're interested in that sort of thing.  Let me know you're a TCP'er if you win and i'll take 10% off the final price.  shipping is already free and all auctions started at 0.99 with no reserve.  thanks!

I spotted this on ebay and did cringe a little  :o

Basically some weirdo decided to cut up a load of Nes (Shakes Head!) and some dude now has them and is selling them as art. But I like the  the idea of the guy who now has them, to selling. What's done is done I guess.

Might be cool little bits of wall art to have.  Since the deed's already been done, there's no need to feel bad about it...

Ugh. things like that make me feel sick.

On the other hand, if the seller had the original Zelda, I'd consider getting it to frame.
Not sure if I'm glad there's only a cut up Zelda II though

They are probably from a rental store, I have cut up boxes to Mario Party Advance and Final Fantasy 1&2 GBA from Block Buster. They stuck them in a DVD case to display them, I got them when I bought the rental copys a while back, they did came with their manuals. I think I acedentlay cut a small part of the FF back or front because the guy at the counter forgot to take the security thing out, and I was already home, and i decided to destroy the case to get the cart and manual out, this was in 2009.

Random tangent, I just woke up.
