The dude says: ''Hey I can wait until December'' ... ... ... I replied: ''Wuuuu. I'm not gonna wait until next year to complete a transaction. It's already been 5 days...'' And he just responded: ''Ok'' What the fuck is even happening anymore. JESUS --- End quote --- Haha. What an idiot. I think it says you have to pay within 3 business days, doesn't it? |

They automatically open a case after two days - though I always put in my listings that if you need more time, simply let me know. Some people are just straight up batcrap crazy in thinking they can buy something and pay for it months later. Even had it where buyers get all pissy with me when the item doesn't arrive within couple days, even though they haven't sent payment yet. You'll never figure out what makes some folks tick, so I just let eBay's automated system handle that crap unless the buyer alerts me to a delay. |

Long story short, mom owns a bakery. A little over a month ago, one of the wedding cakes had used the $25/yard rhinestones (bought 7-8 years ago) to border the base of the cake. After the wedding was over, the family brings all the supplies that we used back to get their deposit. The hall... apparently either threw out or stole over 2 yards of this rhinestone (the top tier and the complete bottom tier). So, 2 weeks after this, we had another wedding that needed the expensive rhinestones border. So looked around local shops, nothing. Rhinestone websites... nothing on what we need (they only sell Acrylic which is CHEAP) or something potentially similar for an outrageous price per yard (mind you, for purchasing a new "type" of rhinestones, to make them all match, I need 3x sets of 2yard (6 yards total) strands of rhinestones). Etsy... won't deliver in time. So... hell... lets look at ebay. I find a quality set like the ones mom has for $14/yard on ebay. I specifically ask the person "I need to in total buy 6 yards of this, but in 2 yard strands. For now, I only need about 2 yards to test out the quality of these rhinestones, do you have any 2 yard strands available?" He gets back to me: "Yes we do, please remind us when you purchase that you need a larger available size." Awesome, sweet. So I purchase 2x 1yard strands, ask him for 1x 2yard strand. Not complicated? You know? Item arrives in the mail. Everything looks great. except I look at it closer. 4x of the gems are missing in the strand (very noticeable once you see it). On top of that, it wasn't even 2 yards! it was 1.5 yards! Was charged $28 for 1.5 yards, TF. Contact the person, he gets back to me "oh we can send you another replacement yard". Yes please, do so. He gets back to me a week later: "It seems we don't have any yards left, and I'll issue you a 10% refund". $2.80. I mean I might be bad at math but: 72 inches, $28: you are looking at $0.39 an inch. $0.39 x 54 inches (what we got) = $7. Not only did they short me on the length of the yard, they shorted me of the refund. And now they don't have any strands left, meaning I am really hoping that the final 4+yards I purchase from someone else are just as similar. --------------------------------- Video gaming wise --------------------------------- And now, I know its not ebays fault, but he could of atleast protected this $300 NES game better. It's not like I bought a $10 item here dude. The item made it fine, but damn did that scare me. |

People often mistakenly assume that packing an item SUPER tight is the best way to go. If the item can tolerate being jostled around in the box a bit (and an NES cart most certainly can), then it's best to pack it a bit loose. If that box was packed tight, then the packing material itself could very well have damaged the cart. Leaving room for the box to deform should the USPS decide to curb stomp it is a good thing. |

Meaning that the box had a good section inside where it had no support to protect from flattening. If you have a Cart itself, psh, there wouldn't be much (if any) damage. A box with with that much damage would scare anyone upon arrival, knowing that the NES box inside it that is very fragile that has an empty space the size of this piece of foam It should have been packaged better than 2x newspaper pages. |
