I violated two of my buying rules, but this seems like it could be a great find:

I don't like to buy from sellers with a zero rating, nor do I buy unless there are good photos of everything.  He describes this as "like new", so at least I know if it's just an empty box, or if it's not complete in the described condition, Ebay will almost certainly refund my money.  It's already shipped, so I'll see in a few days.

I love buying from zero feedback sellers. It's how you get the best deals. Dunno why anyone even cares about feedback anymore. Seller can't give negative, so buyer feedback is all but worthless. Low seller feedback doesn't mean squat, because feabay will just get your money back if they screw up

Good points.  Maybe he just doesn't realize that this is a $100+ game, or he just wants some quick money.  I know I can get a refund if I need to.  I just hope there's not a regular "Madden 93" inside instead of the Championship Edition.  Since he doesn't appear to be a regular game seller, he may have just used the UPC from the box for the listing and may not even know what the correct cartridge is supposed to look like.  Even if the wrong cartridge is inside, I'd still keep it if the correct manual is there (though I'll likely contact him and try to get a partial refund).  I'll post an update when I receive it.

Bought this from a new seller with zero feedback and it took almost a week for him to ship it and it packed it odd. he shipped it in it's retail box and wrapped in cheap paper and in a clear trash bag. But I got the keyboard for $27 and change shipped.

I agree with all of this, but I will add one warning.  I know several people who have had their eBay claims denied because they "altered" the game by opening it to check the board.  The average eBay rep doesn't understand the concept of opening a cart to check the board, and they often times consider it the same as destroying the game.  Obviously, you should still check the board.  All I'm saying is that if you, DON'T use that as proof to eBay that the cart is fake.  Give them any other reason or rational as to why it's fake, and you will probably win your case.

The way to get that sorted out is to "take it to a professional" to have it looked over.  They'll often require that sort of thing anyway if you talk to them first. 

Also, since they're so clueless, just point out all the other issues you can find before opening it up like the labels being shitty replicas

Yeah, that's what I'm saying.  Usually there are enough reasons to prove something is fake, that you don't need to talk about the fake board.  That should be enough for eBay.  I think most collectors default to the fake board, because for us, that should be the first step.  Just don't tell eBay you did that.

Speaking of eBay...  Does anyone happen to know where one might find a genuine SONY brand PS3 controller without having to pay an arm and a leg?  Seems like 95% of the ones I see on eBay give me the fake vibe.
