--- Quote from: TDIRunner on November 21, 2016, 01:38:19 PM ---Not sure if it's the same person or not, but an eBay seller with either the same name or very similar used to be very notorious on NA for scamming people. She had much higher feedback back then (compared to the low number here). Had thousands of negative feedback (but also thousands of positive, so who knows). --- End quote --- You can only have a relatively small +/- feedback ratio before eBay just gives you the boot. I think at about 95%+ they start giving you a hard time and basically ensure that search results will put your items at the very end of the results, even if they're technically the most relevant. I fucking hate eBay. |

I don't know what's worse - non-paying bidders or deadbeat sellers. I was the winning bidder for a game 6 days ago, and I paid the same day. Still not listed as shipped, no tracking number. Original estimated delivery date is tomorrow, 12/10. I e-mailed the seller two days ago and got no response. E-mailed him again today and still no response. He has a 100% rating with over 400 feedback, so I don't know what the deal is with him. The game is a first revision of "Revenge of Shinobi" for the Sega Genesis, and I won it for $22 (cart and manual only). I already have a box to put it in. I really want the game because these are usually sold complete for around $50, and I only needed the loose cart. I'm not worried about the money because I know I'll get a refund from Ebay if I file a report and he either ignores it or cancels the order, but that takes up to 5 days. I buy and sell a lot, and I find these kinds of sellers just as annoying as non-paying bidders. This isn't the first time I've paid for something and had no response from the seller. Now I have to wait, and if another one comes up for sale in the meantime I may miss it because this one's in limbo. |

Dude, just file a claim. In my experience, the seller responds in less than an hour once a case has been filed. I just had to do this the other day for a $1,000+ materials order for the business. 11 days (8 business days) and it hadn't shipped. Sent message, nothing for two days. Filed a claim, and within minutes he replied. Told me he'd "ship it today or tomorrow" (he had previously marked it as shipped with UPS tracking, but it was never picked up/dropped off). He said he'd "tell UPS that it was urgent". I told him "no, you pay for 2-day shipping now because I needed this material last week." Luckily he did. |

Well, I got the game today. Even though I bought it a week ago, he didn't ship it until Thursday (after I first e-mailed him). |

I know we've all seen this before, but maybe not from this angle. ;) http://www.ebay.com/itm/282281261333 |
