For those of you following the story, there is this now.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/262392516683

People are bidding on this?  Wtf?

It's either troll bidders, or people who are getting too caught up in the Stadium Events shipping case story.

Either way, the seller is only listing it to troll/piss off certain people, but if someone actuals pays for it, I'm sure he will send it out.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

What Die Hard for nes is rare now ???

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Die-Hard-For-Nintendo-Entertainment-System-NES-Great-Condition-Rare-/172171289031?hash=item28163561c7

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say "rare" but it is pretty uncommon.  I've actually only seen a physical copy a handful of times, and the game has been hovering between $75 -$100 for a few years now.

What causes the plastic on nes carts to bubble like this?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bucky-OHare-Nintendo-Entertainment-System-1992-/322080971121?hash=item4afd859971:

Surely can only be heat?

No, moisture as in that is mold growing between the layers of the plastic.

It's not mold.  it's a result of moisture absorption, but the deformity remains ever after the moisture has evaporated.

We tried soaking some SNES cart shells in a bucket of water in a backer of water a couple of years back in order to make label removal easier (we've since found a way better method).  About half of them had the blisters the next morning. Even after we thoroughly dried them, the deformity remained.

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Exertainment-Mountain-Bike-Rally-and-Speed-Racer-Snes-Rare-Holy-Grail-NEW-REPRO-/121963239231?

Ridiculous price.

That's a good price. I've NEVER seen that game before. Not even sure if a rom exists.

Read the last word in the title of the auction.

Or the line in description: Combo Repro cartridge

 ;)

If that would be genuine I could kinda understand but even then I would not buy unless it's CIB.

Ahh, didn't notice that. And there probably never was a box or instructions for this game. I think it had to be ordered from Exertainment. Cannondale Cup is the retail version of Mountain Bike Rally.

I've seen CIB Speed Racer / Mountain Bike Rallies quite often on eBay (with 2000+ price tag).

Mountain Bike Rally was released also under that name (I own a CIB copy).
There are 2 on eBay at the moment.
But thanx to you I now want CIB Cannondale Cup... :P

Just somebody selling a UGC with an Earthbound cover.  $30 plus $3 shipping.  Seriously?
