I won an auction and paid.

The seller refunds immeadly and says the postage was wrong and should bit higher, that is probably true as the postage was bit on low side, so I say OK send me invoice with correct postage... no reply.

I remind him few weeks later... the responce is that he wants to cancel because I live in country that he does not post to.
The listing says posts to European Union... I live in Finland which is part of European Union... so I say stop lying and decline on the cancel as I want the items.

Now he cries that ebay charges him 14 Euros.

I was gonna ignore him, but as he keeps pestering me I ended leaving negative feedback.

I think you did the right thing. His actions are similar to sellers cancelling an auction because the final bid wasn't high enough.

I think you did the right thing. His actions are similar to sellers cancelling an auction because the final bid wasn't high enough.

Some guy in India tried the same crap with a CIB violet Gameboy Micro last year. Auction ended for considerably less than I expected, and he immediately sends a message that he needs to cancel the transaction because it was sold to someone else.

Told him no, don't believe you. Ship it or I'll leave negative feedback.

He actually did ship it. I was honesty pretty shocked.

Ugh, it was legit, but the transaction went sorta south.  Basically, the guy was a newb, and didn't know that shipping from South Africa was going to be about 170-250 dollars.  He quoted like 17 or something.   While adding 150+ for shipping would have still been a good deal, I wasn't going to throw that kind of money at an ebay noob with virtually zero protection should he run off with that 150+.  He completely understood and refunded me right away and apologized.  He said ebay seemed rather tricky, and the new seller $500 montly limit was the only reason he was selling it for so little (and I guess he needed money).  Said he would just try and sell locally instead.

It seemed super scam-o-riffic, but considering that he refunded me without question or hesitation, I'm inclined to believe he had the best intentions, but didn't do his research first. 

Oh well.

Does anyone know the game Lords of Thunder? I was searching for some Sega CD games just out of curiosity on youtube. And MY goodness Lords of Thunder looked incredible to me even though I had never heard of it before. It's so unique. Metal rock music and bad ass shmup gameplay.

Anyways, I looked into it and it's like a couple hundred bucks on Ebay. Man oh man. Would you put out 200 bucks or more to buy one game that you really wanted? Or is there a better way to get it, iso or emulation or whatever? I don't know. I don't even have a Sega CD. This made me want one, but then again, getting a game for that much money? Why is it so expensive? Hmm I do want it though. I'm a Shmup nerd.

yeah, it's part of a scene set i uploaded at ***.
some will pay 200 bats for it, and it's worth what folks pay.
take the amiga 1200 for example, i really can't be fucked with any other tech, it's just i don't have the money to pay the exorbitant prices for it's upgrade.
they were a few types, and the one i'm after id the high-end expansion card.
i'd shit 400 bats on one if any was going, even swap my LTD-edit dreamcast for it.
just goes to show, commodore is where it's at, the rest fail and kill time a bit.
online searching will help with sega/mega cd emulation, and the iso/rom image too.

Have you looked up "winds of thunder"?  The link states that as the known name in japan, which was the only place to get the psn release.
