Shit, that's worth it for the price of the cart and label alone, who cares if it's a shitty game?

too bad that sale doesn't exist.   :'(

Accidentally searched eBay for Walmart:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=walmart&clk_rvr_id=780307678857&mfe=search

Why are people selling $100 gift cards for $130? Why are so many people selling gift cards for higher than the amount on the card? Why did a few people buy a card for higher than the value? Why go through the trouble of bidding on a $20 card for $19.27 or anything amount were the amount you save is not worth the effort of getting the card?

I just sent a PM to one seller asking:
Quote
Why are you selling a $200 WalMart gift card for $265?

I am stumped why someone would want to pay $265 for $200, basically loosing $65 in the processes.

Nothing against you, I am just really confused on why so many people are selling cards for more than it is worth, you are not the only one. Is there a special feature to doing this that I am missing?

Thank you, again, not trying to be rude, I am just legitimately curious.

We will see if I get a response, I really want one.

I think it has something to do with what PT Barnum said. The only reason I can fathom that someone would sell cards for more than their worth are 1. too offset the fees of ebay and 2. people actually buy these. Maybe someone wants to give a gift, but doesn't want to give cash and is too lazy to go the store for a gift card (though I imagine they can probably get one from Walmart.com without spending extra).

Recently on ebay, I bought a 12+1 month xbox live gold card from bestbuy for 40 bucks and it didn't have the extra month promised. They offer no solution in their 'not as described' policy other than to file for a return. I included a message stating that I'd be happy with just receiving one additional month as promised in the listing rather than them refunding all of my $ for a card that's already been redeemed.

Still, if you are that lazy, just give them money! Not many people actually bought them, one or two here and there. And it takes time to ship in.

WalMart offers emailing codes to use, I ordered an Nintendo eShop card and cot the code within 2 hours.

Good luck with Best Buy.

i did same deal but i did mine around black friday so i got the 20% off and on top of that a few weeks ahead of time i sent them 10 donor carts that i got for $1-$2 each at my local flea market so i got another $100 off. Ended up being $140 i paid after investing about $15 in donor carts so i squeezed mine for about $15-$16 each. I plan on setting it up same way next year and getting another 10 same way

Good luck with Best Buy.
Best Buy ignored my claim so I escalated it to eBay and they denied it. Furthermore, they reversed my bad feedback I left for the item not matching the description. The whole experience leaves a bad taste. I didn't abuse the system and the item certainly didn't match the description. BS.
