Probably the pins are dirty

I was hoping that might be the problem as that's a fairly easy fix if I understand correctly.  Just don't know about NES much (just getting into it) so I don't know what the signs of bad pins are.  Me thinks I shall bid on it if it stays cheap enough.

Or a hastily removed mod left it with some weak points that failed.  Still, may be an easy fix.

Also, I find myself really wanting a Sponge Bob GBA SP lately for some reason.  They make me LOL every time I see one  ;D

They are kinda expensive, going for 50$ normally. There is one on Amazon for 35$ with "LOTS OF SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES FROM USE"
From a look at a box they are a Toys R Us exclusive and are the "brighter screen" models.

Dude, have you read the title and description?  It's BROKEN.  Who on Earth is gonna pay 45 bucks for a broken SP 101?  Nobody, which is why it's been up for sale since 2009.

The 101 was NOT a TRU exclusive.  Everyone carried them, especially this blah baby blue color.

I can get broken 101s for like 20 shipped all the time on eBay and 001s for like 10-15.

Ohhhhhhhhh, gotcha.  Yeah, they are pricey, like most special GBA SPs :(

The worst part is trying to find one that isn't beat to shit.  I imagine 99% were owned by people younger than 12, which doesn't really help.

Also, got your pms.  I'll get back to ya as soon as I can.  Been busy as hell this week  :-[

Saw this and thought his 1500$ start price was a tad crazy, 9 bits at the moment guess if anything it just makes me feel better knowing I have all the gems this guy has and is selling + way more. Guess its worth more than I thought lol.

That's absurd.  $21+ per game at the current price.  A lot of them are worth that, but most aren't worth nearly that, even on their own.

WOW. It doesn't even include the printer cable. Apparently they are "pretty easy to find on ebay or other sites."

Some people should really just go and bash their head into a mirror.
