When I've sold with a best offer option and received low-ball offers, I just decline.  It makes it appear as if the buyer either doesn't consider my time or leaves me feeling that there's no way they'll come up to a reasonable amount, so I just straight decline with no counter-offer.

I got to figure that stuff out and test/ clean the Famicom games, I might get some of that done this weekend.
Prices will be lower than the common eBay prices. Some lower than others, depending on the item.

@Wiggy,
What do you consider Lowball?

Some offers I did lately (And Won) were:
$33 from $45
$13 from $19

eBay is a shithole anymore. That's what happens virtually every time a good idea gets purchased by big business.  It's a bad place for buyers, and it's the most miserable place on the planet for sellers :(

well i sold the item for $400 then ebay took a cut of $40 and paypal took $12

When I see a Offer, I low ball it mostly expecting the seller to come back with a counter. I never go that low, lowest I went was on a lot a Virtual Boy games a few days ago, $115 down form $150 because I was on the fence about it, and it got accepted.

I have a box of games I need to sell (e-Reader, Famicom, Virtual Boy) , I'm probably going to first do it here, depending what's left maybe just trade it in to my local retro games store.
Should I bother with eBay?

I would always try here first. ;)

I've had such good luck here and I feel better knowing a fellow member bought my stuff.  I tend to sell at below eBay rates, but I also avoid the hassles and fees.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I have sold things on here in the past.

I'll probably get it all set up this weekend, or next.
The VB games are still shipping in. I ended up with a few dupes from the lot.

I knew this was gonna happen. The E.T. games they dug out of the Nevada desert are now on eBay are fetching ridiculous prices. One of the most common (and worst games) on planet earth is going for ridiculous amounts simply because it was dug out of the famed E.T. landfill. How ridiculous is this, am I right?

When they did find the games I was wondering when they would sell them. I was interested but not for $50-$500. Nope. Better yet, look at the item numbers "#8150"! of they do this with all they found that's some serious bank.

Some of those might be shill or fake bidders trying to drum up prices for the hundreds of other copies they have. $500 from someone with 1 feedback seems fishy.

Can't say for sure. The % sort of depends on the price of the item. If something is $10, then a $6 offer doesn't bother me. But if something is $100, then $60 is just too low for me to even consider.

Also just being overly cautious, had some recent ebay burns.

This video may already be in this thread, but after hearing how much she paid for these I HAD to post it.  Just think of how many she could have had if she went to media shelving and TCP.
