Nothing you can really do, can you still leave feeback since he cancelled? IF not sending him any message is just wasting time and more than likely just going to make you angrier. Sucks but nothing you can do

I would depend on ebay's policy. In physical stores, the price tag is the final price :)

Bought mario clash with manual for $10
Seller canceled order claiming price error
Relisted for $35, my order still pending

What do? Should I just let it go?

If your order is still pending i think after 48 hours you can open a dispute on ebay if you haven't accept the cancelation, after all is not your problem that he did't put the price right

Yeah but Ebay can't do anything but return the money if you paid.

They should have thugs that go to the sellers house and rip the game from seller's (if all other fails: dead cold) hands.
Ebay should have some sort of penalty pay system.

They definitely deserve bad feedback. What's the name of the seller?

I got a message  saying that we're listing it for their son and made a mistake.  :(. I'll post it when I get home.  It's not some big game seller, the cancel happened a hour or two after buying.

Still lame, but I'd probably just let it go and not leave any feedback.

Check their feedback.

If this seems to be the first time... let it be.
But if this seems to be their usual way... Leave so freaking negative feedback as you can.
Also claim item not recieved to fuck them (actually might do no good, as they can simply say no payment).

chrissysauctions was the seller, no negative feedback concerning, though has 900 sales in last year.

Bought:

I am sorry but their was an error in this listing. This is my sons and I entered the wrong amount last night when I listed. The price should have been $35.00. I have never done this before and do apologize but I can't disappoint my son. I hope you understand. I will refund you and relist. I'll wait to hear form you before I do.

Relisted at $35:

eBay (On the page when I see it) "A seller you've bought from"  :P

I think I will let it slide, not worth the fuss over $10. I see a few CIB for that price.

He can't cancel it after the listing has sold unless you consent.  He can only request that it be cancelled.

If you agree, then it's cancelled and no feedback can be left by either party.

That's not entirely true.  If you walk up to the counter with a PS4 that has miraculously been priced at $1.99, you better believe that they aren't going to sell it to you for that price.  Many people will argue over the "legality" of such things, but in the end, it's up to the shop owner and there's little you can do.

My money was refunded without me doing anything. Anyway, that was that. Not much else I can do, my VB needs repair anyway.

With the price thing in stores, there was a big poster advertising a free pair of ear buds with a pair of over ear headphones in a FYE, I tried to get it, bit the manager was saying they forgot to take the poster down, after a bit of arguing I got the deal that was advertised, and the poster went down.

He can refund the money via papyal, but that doesn't cancel the ebay transaction.

these last few weeks are just not good for me for selling. I been trying to selling a phone for a friend of mine on the list and got nothing but lowball offers so i threw it up on evilbay only to have the last bidder not pay and i had to wait about a week to relist my item. Now i have it as a buy now or best offer and i am still getting nothing but low ball offers. What the hell is wrong with people

eBay is a shithole anymore. That's what happens virtually every time a good idea gets purchased by big business.  It's a bad place for buyers, and it's the most miserable place on the planet for sellers :(

When I see a Offer, I low ball it mostly expecting the seller to come back with a counter. I never go that low, lowest I went was on a lot a Virtual Boy games a few days ago, $115 down form $150 because I was on the fence about it, and it got accepted.

I have a box of games I need to sell (e-Reader, Famicom, Virtual Boy) , I'm probably going to first do it here, depending what's left maybe just trade it in to my local retro games store.
Should I bother with eBay?
