I bought a skylanders figure off of ebay from gohastings because it was listed as cheap and i used buy it now. The next day I receive a transaction cancellation request with the description "out of stock". If you dont have an item.. why the fuck are you listing it on ebay? And it seems they do it quite often.

How can I leave bad feedback but still get my money back?

Take it up with PayPal, no item, no money.

Also found a weird listing for some Nike shoes, after searching Paypal on eBay:

--- Quote ---SOLD! Nike Air Foamposite pearlized pink $180 paypal shipped jordan kd kobe
For sale is a pair of Nike Air Foamposite pearlized pink size 10 condition 9/10 no flaws execpt slight little yellowing not really that noticeable. Will sell these for $180 shipped through paypal invoice so hit me up if you tryna buy them.

--- End quote ---
Are they listing things and doing transactions outside of eBay? Hmmm...
It looks like a lot of people are trying to sell shoes this way.

I did just do a transaction off of eBay through Paypal
I got some broken Invader Zim figures, I bought a lot of stuff the legit way and the seller had some that were not included because they were broken.

(Minus the Zim in picture 2)

I bought a game from gohastings listed as "new" and when it showed up it didn't have the new game plastic wrap. They claimed that it was still "guaranteed". Pfft!

A lot of sellers will do this sort of thing if they have a brick & mortar store which they sell from as well.  I'm definitely not defending them, but I know that's been something that I've run in to before :(

Hastings in General is pretty bad about that I know for sure. I was going to buy something from them once but their description sucked pretty bad. So I contacted them before I made a purchase. I'll sum up what I was told. Hastings lists things they have in store under a few seller accounts. When that item sells online, they then check what store has it to have it shipped out. Well if that item sold in store, they tend to keep track of it online and then have to issue a refund after the item has been payed for.
The reason I got this much information was because they game I wanted didn't specify in the listing if it was complete or not. After some prodding, this was the info I got.

I'm going to guess that most chain store vendors do it this way. I know it's shitty but you can't really change that.

Anyway hope that helps.
