He says in the auction description that a relative of his that works at Nintendo claims there are a few games with rare color variants, only 10 to 20 copies of each, for the Nintendo staff.

I totally don't believe that unless someone here has heard otherwise.

It wouldn't be very hard at all to swap out the innards on the cartridges and put a new label on the thing.

If anything they grabbed a few labels and put them on random colored shells.

Check his other auctions, if you're not in the market for possibly faked Super Mario 64 cartridges, there are a ton of Christmas sweaters available.

Also if his Mario 64 and Killer Instinct Gold was released in 1996 how are the backs copyrighted 1997?

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Here's another interesting Jaguar auction.  I'll keep an eye on this one, but I have a feeling it's going to sell for a pretty penny.  The box looks like it's in excellent condition.

I'm not sure if KI Gold was 1996 or 1997, it wasn't released with the system, so it would have had to have been released in October, November or December.  But they update copyright labels on cart reprints.

I hate crap like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Noahs-Ark-3D-SNES-2013-Reprint-/151199875315?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item23343700f3
$80 but wait... it's $60 on the manufactures web site. And looks like this is their ebay store.   But worst ones are people who sell new releases at 50%+ price you can get them brand new.

I was going to buy them all, but decided I'll go with AV-Famicom, so I link here if anyone else is interested.

Oh yeah, I definitely knew they were. I know the site he got them from too. FFII is meant to be $119 and earthbound is $110. I was going to buy them one day so I think I got a pretty awesome deal.

I hate when I buy something on ebay thinking that i'm gonna get exactly what is shown in the picture and when it arrives its an item in worse condition than what was shown.

could be worse.  shopgoodwill.com is a "as is, no returns", so any systems you buy, if they don't work, tough luck.
