The Ebay Topic
JakeHC:
Aw ouch. Yeah, I can't ever see International Shipping ever being cheap. What a bummer.
sheep2001:
That sold, for 50 bucks? Wow. You really should have tried to sell that lot here first. Even with postage I'd have been interested at that price.
KalessinDB:
Yeah dang man... I mean nothing was crazy-rare or anything in my opinion, but it should have went for more than 50 bucks + shipping. This is why I basically never try to sell on ebay. Then again I don't sell a whole lot, period, mostly buy and my bank account hates me for that :D

There was too much filler in that auction. It just throws people off. I would have put all the filler stuff in its own lot, then sold the games which were worth anything either on their own, or possibly in their own small lot. The pricey shipping didn't help either. The Atari stuff shouldn't have been in the auction. Just adds weight to the package.
Anyway, this makes me laugh. It had a certificate of authenticity, but the numbnuts cracked open the slab, which makes the certificate worthless. I'm no fan of the VGA, but seriously, derp.

Oh shit, even better. It just sold for $5K, and the buyer randomly thinks it's worth 3x that.

I've had "filler" lots not sell, or go for $3-5, and I didn't want them sitting around not selling. The reason I bundled some games was to make it easier for me (I don't live "in town" so shipping is a pain), and to get rid of the junk that doesn't sell. Honestly I think two things hurt me the most, shipping, and I FORGOT TO INCLUDE NINTENDO IN THE TITLE. Default title-only searches suck.
I still have 3-4 batches to get rid off, but only one left of Nes games, and the best nes game I have currently to draw attention to it is... Simon's Quest. I think I'm going to keep it and make my first repo from it, a castlevania 2 cart with a few patches.
