This whole reproduction label/fake carts is becoming quite the issue. Hate to see the value of my legit items dip due to trust of the market fading. That said, it's just the nature of business.

Off topic, see people selling UGC's are still popular. Have to laugh at this one person tho, the art isnt even the correct size for the case and doesn't make cuts etc to fit NES carts

Someone already mentioned it, but it looks like he does cut out the inside tabs for NES games.  However, I agree that he is overcharging considering the insert doesn't fit.

In his defense, I like the idea of inside artwork.  I never even thought about that.  My printer even prints double sided...................getting ideas............

A lot of current printers should support this.

I use a Canon Pixma MG5520 that has support for double-sided printing and my Epson Artisan 837 that I had prior to this one also had double sided printing.

Can't speak to what TDI is running with though.

Doing a quick google search looks like it can easily be fixed by replacing a few capacitors, but I imagine that mileage may very and this would depend on your level of comfort with soldering.

I had the exact same problem with my turbo duo. I sent it out to a guy who does console modding and he did a capacitor swap on it and it fixed the problem. apparently the turbo duos are notorious for having leaking capacitors that affect only the audio. but be careful when buying it cause if has been leaking for too long it could leak onto the main circuit board and end up permanently damaging it.

I hope its nothing like replacing the capacitors on a game gear.  Some of those are in hard to solder locations. real cramped and right against other parts, that you most likely end up melting by mistake.

As far as telling how much the board damage goes. It would be hard to tell in an ebay auction.

Another common issue with the Duos is the plug gets bad too, so you have to wiggle it a bit to get audio.  Never mind all the CD drive issues that crop up. It's a first-gen CD-Rom, so it's not like they knew what they were doing.

There are some youtube walk thoughts on the repairs, but I think I am going to try and wait and find one that the seller states is in good working order.
