1: Yes.
2: Absolutely
3: Definitely, but how would it work? Upper screen on TV and lower on Game Pad? I think for example Yoshi's Island or any other game that requires seemless movement between screen (like shooting Yoshi's egg from screen to screen) would cause problems.
4: I think WiiU's Pro Controller does excelent job. After they added support for it to New Super Mario Bros U the game became absolute dream to play. Wish they would do the same for Wii version of the game, but that won't probably happen, but maybe HD remix of the game is coming...

Haters gonna hate.
That's why some games sell millions of copies right, because they suck and you hate them? So tired of "gamers" with a stick up their ass. They're like hipsters, loving all the niche games but hating anything that lots of other people love.
I don't care for a lot of games out there, but I wouldn't say that they suck are aren't any good just because I don't like them.

Its not that I'm hating. I'm not hating on those games, they just aren't for me. I've sat down and tried to genuinely give those games a chance but it just doesn't do it for me. I know why they are successful and can see how people can get addicted to it. I am just so use to how games have always been prior to the smartphone era. I play all types of games, from RPGs to shooters to platformers and I don't discriminate by genre, even mobile games. But I just want more to playing games than simple touch gestures. And maybe I went too far to say that they are crap cause I've had momentary fun with angry birds once in a while. I know its not for everyone but that's just how I feel.

Well now I tell you were wrong when you said that I said you were wrong.
on 3 I just wanted to know how would it work, and on 4 there is controller that works well (I did not say that it's N64 style controller).
