Game "sold" for a hair under $100K.

I somehow doubt that it'll happen. That's like 5 times what those things go for normally :/

O yea looks like this guy might have to resell it. Apparently the winner didnt really mean to put in the bid, his 2 year old did it...twice lol. Here is the article and it has some pertanent info for retro gamers who collect physical copies of games.

1K+ produced, which means little to nothing at this point. Nobody knows how many of those actually made it into the hands of gamers.

So, I'm super surprised that it didn't sell for 100k, NOT.  He's either gonna be relisting it (most likely) or sending a zillion "2nd chance offers" until the price gets down to around 5k before someone bites, which is prolly lower than he'd take for it. Fucking eBay ad it's shitty shill bidders.

Purchased 2 auctions full of portables from seller "webwebo", who I've purchased from many times. Refused to combine shipping citing that "it's too much" (Japanese seller with so-so English). Sorta irked me since he normally combines without me even having to ask.  No biggie. I pay, he ships, they arrive. Only problem?  He charged me $34 for shipping and his actual postage cost was $13. Now I inderstand handling fees, but $21 is insane. He claims that he pays an "agent" to ship for him and he isn't even aware of actual shipping costs for all of his sales. Fucking bullshit.

He's lost a customer for life.

Little does he know that I only leave feedback about once a month, and I have about 6 transactions with him from the last moth or so for which I have not left feedback. I'm sure he'll appreciate his well earned 6 negative feedbacks.

I feel for ya Wiggy! I have the same problem with about 1/2 my MVS purchases. So many people list as being overseas, charge 20$ for shipping then I get a package with a return address from Indiana.

Oh the perks of dealing with strangers on the internet. I can't even tell you how many times something like this has happened to me over the course of my internet experience.

Pisses me off so bad because I buy a lot from the guy, or at least I did.   Oh well. Ended up leaving 4 negs. Two of the transactions were too old to leave feedback on (I tend to not bother with feedback for sellers that have already received + from me since it doesn't add to their total count).

On a Paper MArio listing on eBay

"This is absolutely insane. Not only will you get Paper Mario WITH THE BOX (wear to box and game cart label as shown in picture), you're also going to get some ridiculously awesome bonuses that I picked ESPECIALLY for you since I know only a true Nintendo fan would be buying N64 games on ebay in 2014 for $50+.

First of all, you're going to get your VERY OWN copy of Tetris for the original gameboy. This was the very first game to be released for Nintendos very first handheld, and as you know is exceedingly rare.

Second, you'll be getting an awesome preorder coin that came with Super Mario Galaxy. Approximate cash value: $10,000,000 mushroom kingdom dollars."
