Final Fight Guy $100 snes game: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FINAL-FIGHT-GUY-Nintendo-Super-Famicom-Japanese-Import-Japan-FREE-Shipping-USED-/251417037865?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item3a899f8c29

Actually it's the same game fully in English.
US carts were done by switching the shell of Japanese game to US shell.

Are you sure? Weren't the sprites for Poison and Roxy switched for Billy and Sid? Plus other censoring.

Blockbuster release in the USA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTNYTNx5Mjw

Japanese version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STOVRiaozrQ

Interesting that the sfam version is uncensored. Kind of makes me want that version more than the more expensive snes one.

Jap version is playable on US console with minimal super easy modification to the console, or by putting the JAP cart's circuit board into a US shell.

I just use a game genie. Of course the only import SFC I have is Mickey in Disneyland in Tokyo.

Thought this might interest some of you:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Kongfeng-colorful-handheld-game-player-with-backlit-new-stock-new-brand-same-function-with-original-yellow/1555300358.html

They got a new stock of these gameboy color clones, I ordered 2 a while back from the old stock, and I think they are wonderful! The screen is a tad wider and lower, so the image looks a tiny bit stretched, but the backlight is glorious, and it's just as comfortable to hold and play on as the original GBC. I'd buy em again without thinking twice.

Here's a picture of mine: clicky

I have to disagree with ya. I think those things are terrible. The audio is broken (only 1 channel comes through the mono speaker instead of both channels coming through one speaker), the D-pad is miserable, and of course the improper resolution LCD.  I bought one to hack and slash, but then ended up tossing it in a box so I could forget about it. Total turd IMO :(

I am glad to see some retro hand helds, maybe they will get around to a retro game gear. I am tired of trying to keep the old ones working. Gameboys on the other hand are practically indestructible.
