Yeah, like these guys said, it's a useless lump of plastic without the disc. There are ISO files out there, but you need a modded system or boot disc to make a burned disc work (obviously). |

Just borrow someone's boot disc and never turn off the GC... you can even swap carts in it without turning it off! :P |

I dont know anyone that has one of these, plus that would be very annoying every time I needed to use this bugging someone for their disc. |

Boot discs are very easy to find, but they cost more alone than with the unit. It'll run you around $20, but sometimes more if prices are trending up. I bought my NGC Gameboy Player with the boot disc for $30 total shipped to my door off of eBay, if you're patient you can find both together for some pretty low prices. Alternatively, if you can find the unit for very cheap (around $10-$15 bucks with shipping included), you can always buy the disc later. Those stay pretty steady at $20. |
