Ordered some GBA SP batteries and have had my email flooded with spam from multiple sites saying something along the lines of "thank you for your purchase of blah blah blah, click the link for free "insert name here" gift card. Of coarse if you click the link its full of redirects and spyware. I would hope contacting buyers outside of ebay with spam mail is against TOS. Sadly I would have to call ebay, and I hate talking to reps on the phone. Will have to get around to doing that later. Situations like this really piss me off. Also it was a US seller. -_- --- End quote --- Not sure if its against their TOS. I know it is for Amazon sellers. You can probably just email them from your account and they can take care of it. I am sure they don't want sellers spamming their customers. But it also might be malware on your PC. |

After that I ran multiple antivirus and spyware/malware programs. eBay keeps changing around everything, it seems it won't let me just email them, it only gives me the option to call or have them call me. Anyway, I received at least 5 emails in regards to that purchase from 3rd parties. Fucking ridiculous |

His auction violates eBay TOS actually. He blatantly says that he wants to sell it outside of ebay and that he refuses to pay their fee for a reserve auction. I imagine that auction won't be up for long before it gets shut down. How much of a douche are you by being too cheap to pay a $20 fee when selling something for $1,800? It costs money to sell on ebay. Why is that such a problem for some people? |
