Needed a GBA SP Shell and found these on eBay.
Nicest shell sets I've seen, even comes with a new speaker. Ordered a white and a black one

Thanks for the link. Let me know about the quality of it once you receive it.  :)

Just an update one this. Just received them and used the black shell and they are some of the best shells I've seen.
They feel sturdy and looks/feels nearly identical to the OEM shell.
The new speaker also sounds identical. (I did a side by side with an OEM + same game)

There was one screw that didn't line up quite right, but it was one of the 3 that attaches the main board inside and has no effect on anything. It also included new hinge mechanisms and you usually have to take those out of the old shell.
Also the included tri-wing screw driver(s) are better than average.

NIB Earthbound 135+5$ buyout:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Earthbound-Super-NES-1995-SNES-RARE-LK-Working-Game-Nintendo-RPG-Classic-/231061468129

Looks more like a loose cart which is currently at ~$82  ???
I was also confused: NIB means "New In Box", right? I didn't see a box or $135 anywhere.

ah shoot, I got mixed up in the links, sorry fellas. :-X It's probably gone by now anyways.

Edit: A good part of the box was kind of squished making it quite appealing, that's why I didn't buy it so meh.

real or fake?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NBA-JAM-Tournament-Edition-10v-Mortal-Kombat-Jamma-PCB-Arcade-Board-Upgrade-/380721723419

It's Legitimous Prime.  Only v1.0 had the MK characters in it. They had to be removed for what I assume is some sort of copyright issue :(

CUSTOMIZED WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY PAINT IN ZELDA'S MAJORA'S MASK COLORS, AND HIGH QUALITY DECAL LABELS OF SKULL KID AND ZELDA LOGO !!!

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...

Can someone say Krylon Fusion and Avery Adhesive Labels from Staples?  Yeah, if that's high quality, then I don't wanna know what the crap is.

You actually found his nicest custom mod.  Seriously.  He's got more custom garbage for sale too.

I'll just leave this here

Should be pretty easy to tell I imagine.
I liked the unpainted parts on his NES Zelda one.

It made me want to cry -- it also briefly made me want to throw a pile of cash at Wiggy and a NES and N64 and say "make me a true zelda inspired custom painted console!"

I know you hate krylon fusion wiggy, but I've gotten nice results with it. =P
On the other hand, my c*ck could finger paint a better console.

Agreed...  I've gotten pretty good results with Krylon Fusion as well.  I'd certainly suggest higher quality if one had the means and ability to use it, but for the budget conscious, it's not terrible.  At least not in my experience (though it is admittedly temperamental and can go bad real quick in poor weather conditions).  That said, I've done a couple dozen custom consoles myself and (not to toot my own horn) they were miles better (and cheaper) than this guy's work.  Definitely not Wiggy level awesome, but still pretty decent I think.

I don't want to knock the guy too hard 'cause maybe he's fibbing a bit about his experience and is still learning techniques and such, but I find it somewhat shocking that he's actually sold a couple of his custom systems (according to his recently completed eBay listings).  He seems to be seeking top quality level prices for bottom quality level work.  But hey, apparently that appeals to someone at least.

I offered him 12.00 for it.  He didn't accept my offer :P

Check out "custom NES guy" on youtube and FB.  Now that's a guy who does body and detail work that I would trust with my console.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to diss Fusion so much as call out his "highest quality" comment.  I mean, look at that megaman NES controller overlay.  It's a mess.

My biggest issues with fusion are A) it doesn't bond to very many plastics at all, contrary to what the label says, and B) you can't use a primer with it, so you'll need like 10 coats if you want to paint a black console white or any lighter color, effectively turning your console into a giant, doughy looking mess.  It has its uses, they're just VERY limited in my opinion.

Agreed to most of that. There's no way I could have gotten a lighter color.
I couldn't force it to chip though (was checking durability in unseen areas)
but I waited the 7 days for full cure before reassembly. (2 coats Krylon, 2 coats clear)

Pic because I never posted one :P

Oh My F^%&^ing God, is this guy for real lol. he ruin those consoles, my 4 year nephew can make a better paint work on those consoles.

ohh and the controllers are pain in the ... to think of a custom design........... "Ohhh, this stickers looks great on those controller with some B F D stickers too, this is a custom design so i will sell them for 149 dollars with a painted N64 with some stickers" for one of those with that kind of bad painting i will probably pay 1.50 and im paying a lot of money for tha sh&^*^t lol

Nes megaman: i won't say anything, just that make me cry and lough at the same time, 400 dollars for that sh^&*. some idiot would buy that but for that price you can buy a Wii U or even preorder a PS4

I have an old broken Nes some where in my house, i will search to give it to my nephew to see if he can make a custom design with crayons and i will sell it for 400 dollars, at the end it would result much better looking than those hi is selling  :P

Edit: Wrong names :P
@Snesguy: that one looks great, like your work, you took everything apart to paint. excellent work
