Looks awesome. I love that PCE template, and it's being put to good use here.

Hey Grumble, can I ask a quick question?

Why did you change the template to say Hudson on the front and spine when Hudson didn't actually design and build the PC Engine, NEC did.

Just curious.

The PC Engine was a collaborative effort between Hudson Soft and NEC. It was a 50-50 project.

Actually Hudson designed the PC Engine and NEC put in the money and manufacturing.

In fact the name ""HuCard" (used in japan) comes form HUdson CARD

So.. either Hudson or NEC would be correct.

The biggest reason, was that only games produced by AV/NEC have NEC written on them. I see your point though, its pretty rare to find a system that doesnt' have its Hardware manufacturer's Name on its covers, although by having HE System (Hudson Entertainment System) PC Engine,i suppose it does...well sort off. ;D

Really, the only reason I have a problem with it is it messes with the uniformity of the covers already on the site.

But you know, whatever.

Again,i see your point.I haven't posted them yet so opinions would be nice visitors... ;D. It would be no problem to switch back to the NEC logo if needed.

Strider Hiryu

Changed original stuff for Megadrive case.

Macross 2036

R-Type Complete CD

The original was a little dull(especially the back) so i altered it a bit. :)
And switched back to NEC front/spine to conform with the others.Only change it for personal use now.

Nice work on the Strider Hiryu cover. I always thought Sega's artwork for the Megadrive version looked far better than Capcom's own official illustrations.

Most Japanese covers are rather nice. Engine CD covers are somewhat of an exception though. The fronts are ok by enlage..but the backs often look as if they were knocked together in about 10 mins. Engine Strider's back is just a load of screenshots stuck next to each other...and R-Type's has half the back taken up with system info (that happens a lot).
