PS3 Game Downloads Organization

Ok, before I ask the question, I ask that all respondents answer the question without using big complicated words, terms and phrases.  In other words, explain it to me like I'm a 7-year-old:

How can I organize my PS3 downloaded games?  I already have folders for each series:  Crash Bandicoot, Sonic and Spyro.  I get the folders.  But how can I arrange the order they appear INSIDE the folders?  I'm very OCD and must have them appear from top to down in chronological order.  For example, Sonic 1, then Sonic 2, then Sonic CD, ect.  It appears they just go in the order I download them which is totally unacceptable to me.  And please don't tell me to re-download them, the wait time is insane, like an hour per game.

Haven't used PS3 in awhile so I don't know answer,but have suggestions that might work.

Do they re-organize if you move them from folder to another?
- Make new folder, move the games there one by one in the order you want them to be. Will they stay in the order you want?

Or from HDD to external memorystick and back?
- Move games to a memory stick and back in to PS3's Hard Disc Drive one by one in the order you want them to be. Will they stay in the order you want?

Or is the folder option sort by name?
- Can you tell PS3 to arrange the games alphabetically. Push the Triangle button i think.

Are you talking about how they appear on the games list ON the PS3?

If so then I know EXACTLY how you feel. I'm a little OCD myself and have my games downloaded on my PS3 and PSPGo in a precise order.

I'm sorry to say, that there is NO real way to organize your games on your PS3, except for download order.

If you have a specific order in which you like your games, like which is your most favorite, right them down in a list from most to least.

Delete your games, and redownload them onto your PS3 in the order you like. That's really the only way.

That really blows.  I cannot believe in the year 2012 a company like Sony can't make games organizable.  Even the Wii does it!!!!!  It blows because of the Sonic Games being released in crazy orders.  I'll have to re-download every time a new one is released.
