Yesterday (20th) I turned 28.....the day before that (19th) I became a father. His hair is his moms, most likely his eyes too...all I ask is he likes games and legos...and we'll work on whistling

I gotta be honest here...when I hovered over your topic title on the front page I expected to see someone trying to sell me boots or pharmaceuticals.  ;D

Congrats on the new addition!  And of course he'll be a gamer...I became a gamer by watching my dad play Atari 2600.  He would play Kaboom and Pinball and I was hooked.  Although from what he told me I was reluctant to try it at first but he kept urging me to play and, well, the rest as they say is history.  Just let him watch you play and let him join in and he'll be a gamer in no time!

Oh, and you want to talk about feeling old? I'm 34 and haven't had a girlfriend since Bill Clinton was president.  Makes me feel ancient when guys who weren't even born then already have girlfriends.  ;)

Ditto on the first part.

Congratulations on helping on making a new gamer.

I'm just 31 myself, but sometime I feel so much older. I have three younger cousins (all girls), who are married with kids. Some time ago, I was talking to yet another relative, and actually used the phrase, "when I was your age"; I immediately thought, "this ain't supposed to be happening..."

Its hard for me to believe I'm already out of my 20s; I still feel so much like a kid. Movies, music, and games were my world for years, but I'm now starting to feel "empty" on the relational front. My mother, sister, and grandmother are great (most of the time); I just feel stuck at some kind of impasse.

You feel old huh? Hmmm I got it. Have a near death experience while defeating your greatest adversary from your past in a fiery explosion resulting in the birth a new planet.

Then you'll feel young.

...Sorry, just watched Star Trek II again.

LOL I had to laugh when I read this.  It's just a matter of how you look at things.  I'm going on 29 and have been a father for 7 years and married for 8.  My wife isn't the biggest gamer, but my daughter. She is a chip of the 'ol blockhead.  ;D

Congrats on the addition and I wish you the best. ;)
