Looks sweet!
Since I'm American, I just found out that there was a "small box" PAL NES game series and they are pretty cool! There's 40 of them, most from the "black box" series.
This guy here has them all:
http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=40606 For the "black box" games, the PAL art is usually the same as the Japanese Famicom art (and the e-reader NES art), with a few exceptions:
Metroid (different than US or FDS)
Pro Wrestling (different than US or FDS)
Slalom (not released in Japan, not US art)
Ice Climber (seal replaced with yetti, same as e-reader version)
Rad Racer (not a small box, but different art than US or FC)
The non black box use the US art. Most (All?) of these also were in PAL regular size boxes. I haven't been able to find proof that Volleyball had a normal size box in Europe.
Some games have the Famicom art horizontally flipped (some not in small boxes):
Balloon Fight (full size box is silver instead of black and has flipped artwork, same as e-reader, small box is not flipped)
Baseball (full size PAL box flipped, e-reader art is not flipped)
Mach Rider (both full and small PAL boxes are flipped)
I think we need to preserve these as UGCs! And maybe in the small size too (for DS cases?). Some are already on the site, but I'd like to see them done in PAL style, US style, as well as Famicom/ FDS versions. It can be done various ways. If they aren't available to scan, a different version with the same art can be used, and then the box can be re-created.
