Nice work but could you PLEASE also upload the original artwork in it's original size to the site? You know custom covers are ok but what about the originals?
Regards Seb
Great job! It's good to see someone giving a lot of effort for the Sega CD section.
There is only one thing I don't understand yet, you have Annet Futatagi and Yumimi Mix on your list of completed covers, yet these two were only released in Japan (AFAIK), does this mean you'll also be using a japanese Mega CD template for them or the American one you're currently using?
WOW, looks like you have been BUSY!
great to see someone hard at work on the sega cd section!
I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the covers you have made.
also, i'm guessing you made these in photoshop, if you did could you please post your template. thankyou
welcome to the site ;D
The cover looks awesome. Wosh I had the time and know-how to do covers of that quality.
I will see if I have any scans for games you wouldn't have listed. I may be able to get a couple you don't have listed yet.
Also, what games are with the 5 in 1 Arcade pack. Is that the one that had Sherlock Holmes packed in?

I just took a look at your covers and those sizes aren't known to me....
You know a standard dvd case has a cover with the size 3225 x 2156 but all your covers are much bigger...
For which DVD cases should they fit? They're not STACKpack either so what case do you use?
As long as they are not in our sites standard I can't post those covers....
So the 7mm is the standard thinpak you can buy everywhere right?
Would you mind if we disregard the 9mm covers? Snowcone would have to add this type of case to the "case type drop-down-menu" we admins use when we add a cover. If, like you said yourself, the 9mm never cought on and 7mm is the stadard... I'm not going to say it's superfluous to add this case it's just, well, not needed :)
What do you think? You created those covers and I don't want to sound like I just want to trash your 9mm covers and the effort expended creating these covers.
I think it's even not neccessary to post two versions of the same cover with just spines different in their thickness.... You know it's really basic to make the spine of a cover thicker or thiner in photoshop for example.... Everyone can do that.... I think....
I'd say just stick to standard DVD case size(which in between none of those covers is) and that's fine....
Just my 2 cents....

The full size DVD case is for your standard DVD case (as in retail DVD games and movies).
After that there are 2 slimmer sizes. The Slim 9mm and the more popular Ultra slim 7mm.
To give you an idea:
The Street Fighter zero cover found in the Sega Saturn section is a full size case
http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=3475
Wile the Radiant Silvergun cover is an ultra slim 7mm case.
http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=3939
The 9mm case is not that popular. It was a size that came out before 7mm cases, but never really cought on. You can still find them in online stores, but most if not all retailers are now selling 7mm cases.
In the covers that I made, all you have to do is set you printer to print the image in 10.75 inches wide by 7.25 inches tall. Regardless of which size case you are using.

You said the full size case of yours equals the standard DVD case of our site.... Then why is the standard DVD case of your example cover Street Fighter Zero 3225 * 2156 pixels and your "full" covers(which are all 600dpi by the way => they should be 300dpi) 3568 * 2357 pixels???
Something is wrong here.... As I said the covers must adhere to our standards please...
Over and out....

It will be no work at all to resize them to 3225 * 2156 and 300dpi. Please delete all the previously uploaded images and I will re-upload them again. Also please let me know if you want them in full and 7mm or only in full.
P.S. Please consider that most of the covers were created well before this site was up. I really do not remember why they came to be 3568*2357, but once the template was created I stuck to that.
tiktektak,
1. I have looked through the quality standards and I was concerned about a few of the covers as I do not have great scans for some of them. was there anyones that stood out in particular? I generally won't stretch images an obscene amount but if they arent up to the standards for the this site I don't have any problem waiting to post until I get higher resolution scans or rebuild the covers in photoshop.
2. When I started working on this project I decided to use http://www.vgrebirth.com/ as my reference point as they have barcodes from the original games. This enabled me to do two things: always have high res accurate barcodes for my covers and give me a way to catalog the covers that I have. I have all the Sega CD games in a spreadsheet right now that has information for whether or not a cover has been started or needs scans and if it has scans it states the quality of the scans.
Hope I was able to clarify things a bit
Thanks again vt....
One problem though.... :) The SonicCD cover was wrongly resized..... It is 3227 x 2148 now so could you maybe upload it with the right res....?
Thanks in advance and keep 'em coming!

sorry but where are the covers????Which one in particular are you looking for?
I'm in the process of making them available on the site....
@ vt102:
Thanks for doing SonicCD again.... Looks better now....
On the vay cover the front is pretty pixelated when zoomed in.... I suppose it's not from a high res scan..... I'll post it anyway because it's a pretty rare game.....
Thanks for your effort so far!
Regards Seb
what are the pixelk dimensions for the 7mm dvd case?
just a request for you...
I was wondering if you could do a dungeon explorer cover, it had no cover when I bought my copy and I have never been able to find a good quality scan.

I was wondering if you could do a dungeon explorer cover, it had no cover when I bought my copy and I have never been able to find a good quality scan.
I have already made one. I have not uploaded it because the quality of the back is not up to the site's standards. I can send you the one I have, but I will not upload it until I aether get a better source image or heavenly mod the one I already have. This is the situation with several of the covers I have already created. Of the 83 covers I have already created about 20 or so need some sort of tweaking in order to pass the quality standards. This brings me to my next issue, I NEED RAW SCANS!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. IF ANY OF YOU HAVE ORIGINAL SCD COVERS, TAKE A FEW MOMENT AND UPLOAD A SCAN OF THEM. U need not make a cover... I can do that with out much trouble... But please contribute some scans...

I don't see the cover of A/X-101 I made.. Was there something wrong with it? or did I forget to upload it?
Found something that could come in handy. This is a complete list of Sega CD game titles released within the United States. I figured you guys could use this to mark off the completed covers to see where you stand completion-wise. In addition I think this may be a spark of motivation for others to chime in on the project :)

Do please provide me with a link to the template.
5 games were made
Corpse Killer
Fahrenheit
Night Trap
Slam City
Supreme Warrior
But Fahrenheit actually has both SCD and 32x in the same package. Case looks like a Hybrid
(http://www.bbwl.net/sega/fahrenheit_32.jpg)
Question is... Are any of these a SCD game? or a 32x game?.. cuz we have a section for both! ???
Anyone have a scan of Willy Beamish? I know this game probably sucks and it might not (never actually played it) I'm starting a Sega Cd collection and only have three games so far this being one of those with out a case/manual :'( I found a scan but its mid quality..
I found my copy of Willy Beamish. Now if I had a Sega CD template, we'd be in business.

I'm just taking a wild guess here, but your name comes from Robotech episode 1, doesn't it, Vt102?
From the VF1D training Veritech Rick Hunter was snoozing in when the Zentraedi launched their assault on Macross Island?

In 10 years of using this NickName you are the 2nd person to know were it is from.
It is in fact the number designation of Valkyrie (Varitech in Robo) Trainer unit 102 from the first 2 episodes of Macross.
KUDOS!
mmmm Robotech.
Whats your opinion on any of the Robotech games? How about shadow chronicles?

I got DVDs (Robotech + all 3 original japanese series), Toys (Including the Barbie style 12' dolls), Video Games, T-shirts, books, missing 5 sentinel comics of the incomplete series by the waltrip brothers and I think I got 1 over most macross/robotech fans (image enclosed)
Can't help it, I watched Robotech religiously when I was a kid in 1985. I collected all of the f.h.e. video releases, the Palledium releases and then the Legacy and Remastered DVD's. I do have all of the Artbooks, most of the comics (even the shit ass D.C. abominations,) and several of the original toys. Now I just hope Tobey McGuire doesn't fuck up the show with his live-action version.

Did you just change your sig? Just noticed it now. Totally rocks. But Brian Boitano is better. I love how south park is trashy on the surface, but if you dig a little deeper it has great morals. And if you dig any further, you realize it's still trashy, but has a bleak outlook on the world. And if you dig even deeper, you realize it's still trashy.

I wouldn't use Moby Games for covers as they tend to be well below our standard of 300dpi for covers and are ususally watermarked.

Thanks to that site that DOOM posted, I was finally able to make a decent POPFUL MAIL cover.Which one? Vector magic or the one with highres vector logos? Or the video game art archive? I think I only posted Vector Magic, the other two are other people's finds. And making usernames red is the way to go.

Everything'S been posted vt... Except for the Supreme Commander covers... I dunno but the back looks very greyish compared to the front which is pitch black... Why is that? I think the cover would look much better if the backs background was really black too.... :)

I would, however I do not have the credentials to do so. At the moment I'm just a forum mod, which makes me cool enough to edit other people's posts and make some brains asplode. However, there's no rush, because right now tiktektak is taking the heat instead of me. :D Snowcone will do it when he's ready. Being the admin and all, he can take his damn time. Problem is that I like doing things myself to make sure the quality is perfect.... ;DI imagine he knows more about Sega CD covers than I. Although I try to read everything on this forum (it's small enough to be do-able), I don't even have a Sega Genesis/Megadrive, let alone a Sega CD. Needless to say I've never downloaded one of your covers. I think it's best left to someone who knows a little more than me.
I had an idea for the games that are both for the Sega CD and 32x. I think you should combine them, just like with the Fahrenheit cover. It's just an idea, though, and you don't have to do it, but I just thought i'd throw it out there and see what you guys think of it.

Combining the two covers just makes sense if the game was released that way.... Otherwise it would be pointless?
I had an idea for the games that are both for the Sega CD and 32x. I think you should combine them, just like with the Fahrenheit cover. It's just an idea, though, and you don't have to do it, but I just thought i'd throw it out there and see what you guys think of it.

Those covers do look awesome. Do you think you could work your magic on Afterburner III? ;)
I uploaded some raw scans for Afterburner III, they're pretty rough though. I dont know if you can do anything with them or not, but they were the best I could find.
I've got two fo the missing:
Power Factory, Featuring C&C Music Factory * Road Rash
How do you scan Sega CD games? The originals have the manuals that double as the covers...?
I also have Lode Star The Legend of Tully Bodine. Is this uploaded somewhere? If not I can upload raws if someone will work with them.
Any tips of scanning Sega CD games would be nice.
what I meant was do you scan the manual and the rest separately? I would assume so since they are seperte?
I dont see NHL '94 in your list of games unaccounted for, and I didn't see it in the Sega CD section either. Am I just missing it? Or do you need a scan of it as well?
Okay! I took the downtime to scan the Sega CD games I have that aren't up here. They are in the raw section. Please someone who has knowledge of converting them for the project work on them!
Up are:
Lode Star
Road Rash
Sergical Strike
Power Factory
with Power Factory, I had a small problem: part of the cover was torn and stuck to the hard plastic cover, so I scanned that little tear sepertely. I hope someone with photoship skills can repair it!
Keep me updated!
Just a quick thought Vt102, when you get done with all of the Sega CD covers are you going to start doing dvd covers for sega saturn games? Cause I figured the site would have dvd cases for games like Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter 2, and Daytona USA atleast. But they don't. And I have japanese covers that I'll upload cause it would be amazing for them to match in dvd cases and have the white sega saturn trim instead of the gold thats on the japanese. I'll upload them when I get back from class. Its Dragonball Z, Macross:Do you Remember Love, and Lupin the 3rd.
Vt102, the tear is literally pasted onto the plastic cover through what means I dont know, probably moisture over the years. I cannot remove it. If I tried I'd probably wreck it. I could try rescanning it though if that helps?
ok. its up in the raws.
If it makes you feel any better, I didnt do this to the game - I had bought a Sega CD and a crapload of games for $30 a few years ago. Its the fault of the previous owner.
Wonderful job vt102! Can you please provide links to the scans? I want to download them right away.
What about the other games I uploaded, Lode Star & Sergical Strike?I hope you'll be able to work on those two as well.
MOM!!! LOOK WHAT I MADE! ( still can't upload them... :-[ )

Here are the raws for WWF: In Your House for the Saturn if you want to make a dvd cover for it. They are 600dpi
Both look good to me.Good luck with the AB3 cover.I was a pretty avid MCD collector back when that first appeared and i never remember seeing the euro release of it anywhere.Hope the U.S version was a little more popular.Got an uncovered U.S one now so i need you to finish it!! ;)

There was no EU release. US and JP only for this title.
Unfortunatelly the JP cover (wich I have a raw of) will not do the job eather (imho).

Its in the listings as a PAL release. He has cover shots too(way too small to use).As i said though,i never saw it. Must have been a rarity over here.
Too many pages to read through entirely, so I'm sorry if this has been answered.
Do you have a RAW scan for Lunar: Eternal Blue? I looked in the Raw section, but don't see it. Thanks.

Eh eh, I took myself the freedom of asking for some help for this project at the Sega-16 forums. The site is full of 16-bit Sega enthusiasts and collectors (who would probably like the project as much as we do) and person who helped you is from that site.

Sorry if this didn't seem like the right thing to do Vt102, but things looked pretty glum for getting new Sega CD scans.
All remaining covers have been uploaded to the raws section and are ready for download! (It sure took quite a while to upload them ;D)
Just out of curiosity, do you want/need a raw scan of the Lunar: Eternal Blue manual? I have one I could scan, though it'd need a bit of touch-up work (it's not bad, though).
All remaining covers have been uploaded to the raws section and are ready for download! (It sure took quite a while to upload them ;D)
I LOVE YOU!!!... in a manly way!
Unfortunately it looks like a few are too low res to be used, but there are some that are very usable and a sure good addition.
I will not be able to work on them until Monday. I'm doing a shoot in Florida and will be out of town till then. But once im back home, I'll get to it right away!.

I think I might be able to get better versions of the covers that are too low-res, just update the list (or reply to me) with the ones that remain and I'll see if I can get them at a better resolution.
Anyway, it's good to to know that my findings are being a good help to you. :D
AX-101 uploaded. Let me know if its ok for you.
You're lucky. Here in Ohio you can't say that without starting a fight. I hate the Browns. Who the heck makes their logo a helmet? And to top it off, Clinton won Ohio in the primaries. I hate Ohio.AX-101 uploaded. Let me know if its ok for you.
Beautifully!!!!
P.S. Steelers DO RULE! ----- 27 years as a fan!
INXS now uploaded. Sorry its a little rough around the edges I hope you can still work with it. You do 3DO covers to, right? I have a bunch of those I'll be loading up soon too. And does anyone do U.S. Saturn covers? I see there arent many on the site. I've got a ton of those as well that id be willing to upload if someone would use them. Excuse my excitement, i just got a new scanner and Im dying to use it. Not to mention the fact that I've downloaded about a million covers and I feel the need to contribute.
Sherlock Holmes - Consulting Detective
A one-off custom for us Euro's who use Vt's lovely cases but did not have this and Arcade Classics packed together AND dont want to keep the horrid double CD cases (like me ;) )
Im not 100% sure wether this was released as a single in the U.S. but i think not.Was it a pack-in?.Vt's bound to know..

I have a scan of this game, I was going to use the MEGA CD template on it.

No reason not to make a "proper" MCD version. My Sherlock's neither one thing or the other really, having U.S design but in three languages on the back.Ninety nine percent of my collection are in the good ol' Blue cases and this was the last of my Euro versions so it seems a shame not to match it.When you start on the Mega CD cases,i have a few JP and EU i can scan if you dont have them.MCD case looks top drawer BTW. :)

Cool... :)
BTW. I did use the blue SCD template for some MCD games.
Great covers and I can't believe we're getting so close to finishing this project in such a short time.
Thanks Vt102 for creating these covers and everyone else for uploading raw scans to work with!
I may be a bit pessimistic here but if you consider a project done when every cover for every region has been uploaded then it's unlikely ANY project will be finished :D
There are tons of obscure Japanese games (ok, maybe not for SegaCD, I don't know too many games for that system put my money where my mouth is ;) )

I think even for the SegaCD there are quite a lot Japanese only games which never came to the US or EU.... There must be at least some Mahjong games.... ;D

Why do we even care about the Japanese?
Have them make their own covers!
Them and their damn sweet and sour pork! (that's chinese not Japanese btw)
LOL

I'm in the process of uploading everything vt....
All covers were very nice vt except for Midnight Raiders which was wrong dimensioned.... Would be nice if you could reupload it in the correct dimensions.....
Thanks for your excellent work though....

Sorry I took so long to upload it, but I've uploaded the raw scan of the Lunar 2 manual. (I was actually waiting on a replacement manual I ordered). I expected the scan to come out a bit better, but hopefully it's usable.
Is there any chance for a Sega Classics Arcade Collection raw scan being uploaded? I have a spare longbox, and don't have the insert (or manual) for that game.

That's the best I can seem to get it. I set it to descreen, and I don't seem to see any difference from when it isn't descreened. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm up for them.Hmm. My scanner has an option called unsharpmask... I wonder what that does. You sure there's no difference?

i have the DVD versions of mad dog mc cree 1 & 2 (not the sega cd versions) - I can up those if you want the art for a custom.............lmk
I bought Dracula and Mad Dog on ebay recently... When I get them I'll make sure to upload some raws.... :)
Looking nice vt.... You'll upload them yourself right? ;D ;)
Just make sure to double check if we haven't got a slim version of the games allready because ugcluke posted many slim SegaCd covers which were good looking and made available by me....
I'm not a big fan of slim cases, but these look great! Props to you, this looks like a very thorough collection!
Will "Heart of the Alien" be coming?
Any reason you kept the bottom blue stripe on the front with HotA but not on these covers you just posted? (speaking of the slim versions)
Hey vt!
I finally received my SegaCD games from the US(this takes ages sometimes) and I allready uploaded the raws for Mad Dog and Dracula....

Any chance the Sherlock Holmes Vol.1 & Sega Arcade Classics (http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=5725) cover could be split into a cover for each disc?
I have a few of the remaining cases as I will try and upload them soon, I would rather use FTP access as I have alot more covers to provide this site, please let me know if this is possible, I'm just here to help...I don't think Snowcone (the site admin) would be inclined to do so, but if you PM him he might make an exception.
You could make a torrent and post the link
Definitely rapidshare.... Ftp access is nothing to be given away too fast.... You know if someone has ftp access he could do much harm....Yeah, I just didn't want to come off as a dick.
You never know.....
Looks pretty good at first glance....
Only the PEGI info looks kind of displaced on such an old game cover....
A yes and welcome to the project....
...the superfluous Japanese MCD logo on the spine...
That template is awesome! It really gives Sega CD a fresh look! It looks sort of like a gamecube case but you have managed to take a disc to fill that space. I would like to see a template for NTSC as well. I like to have choice, and while vt102 has made a template that offers a serious replacement, your's is quite original and unique.

I have to agree... I think this template looks WAY better than the one I made..

I'm goiing to have to respectfully disagree. Dont sell yourself short, i like your template better and i'll use if for all my Sega CD games (yep all three of them :P).
ONLY 8 US COVERS LEFT PEOPLE!!Awesome! We can have two "complete" (depends on definition of complete) collections of US covers here on TCP someday - N64 and Sega CD.

For the Sega CD it will be difficult to get a complete list because there are still new games produced(or unfinished which they finish) for it by gooddealgames.... They're not all that good but they exist and are official I think....
Battle Frenzy
Bug Blasters
Burning Fists: Force Striker
Citizen X
Marko
Mighty Mighty Missile
Star Strike
Those they have released so far....

Well considering that they already come in DVD cases and that they are not recognizide by sega as "official" I think we don,t have to worry much hosting the covers.
thedrowningman:
I assume you are referring to EU Mega-CD.. There were a few releases done in long boxes but most were released in CD jewel cases (in about 3 different styles).
Grumbleduke:
I LOVE THAT TEMPLATE!!!. I have several EU MCD scan that you can use. I also have been working in a new JP MCD template (I never really liked the previous one I did).. I'll post a preview later today.
The long boxes for EU-MCD games were exactly the same as those for US-SegaCD games.... I only know Sewer Shark was released in that style('cause I have it) but there are some more for sure(I saw Prize Fighter in a long box once).....
@ Doom
Luckily, there'd only about half a dozen games for the system anyway.
I havent thrown in my two cents yet ;)
Great job Grumbleduke on the MegaCD and MegaCD32X Templates. I really like how you made them look like the blue Megadrive style but still distinctive. As far as which style I prefer ... I honestly couldnt choose one as i like them both. I will say that on the Yellow and Red style i do like the faded megacd watermarks.
Anyways great job, it looks like a solid template. Oh, does the Sega logo at the bottom of the spine line up with the Dreamcast DVD cover's Sega logo?
Sweet!!! we need more of these.
I really like your template GrumbleDuke, goes wonderfully with the original Mega Drive covers (which I plan to make my whole collection of)
I'm not particularly a fan of the 32X though... it is a it too busy on the spine and I'm not sure how you can solve it.... maybe make it even more transparent...
do the Mega CD- 32X feature DVD case or UGC?
Either way great job
BTW if anyone would like to make a country specific version, the template has a selection of flags in it and i will put the PSD up somewhere so all that would be needed is to translate. I cant do that though as it would be complete giberish ;)

Just let me know when its ready and i'll add it to the template page :)
I have been trying to find sega cd games everywhere. Flea Markets, yard sales, play-n-trade. Where does everyone find there sega cd stuff? And did we ever get a cover for the Marky Mark game? I have the game but its disc only. But if we still need the cover I am going to get the boxed complete one off ebay along with the Kris Kross one. Do we need that one as well?
@ Grum - when are those covers going up? My Mega CD arrived in the post today, and i've got no room for those double CD thingy's the games came in ;D

It's been mega at work the last few weeks and Mrs G has me fitting a new bathroom indoors so i am a little behind. They will go up today or tomorrow and i will put up the template for shenske to deal with (as he's the Template Tsar ;)).
140? Phew that sure is a lot of admining to do....
Just make sure to get all the naming stuff etc. right.... ;D
Uploaded about one third of them.. I got to stop for a few hours but I should have the rest up there by days end.
These look great! Did you debate for a while on how to do the Sega CD logo on the spine? It looks a little schmooshed. I guess the only alternative was to make a smaller Sega CD logo?
I think it's about time that I add all those Slim Case SCD covers that have been festering in my folder for months now.
It's somewhere in the area of 140 or so covers.
I also created a 3 Ninjas Kick Back standalone cover
Road Avenger (Sega CD/Custom)
There you go. Looks ok in the SCD style. As its just VT's cover with a custom front, i will post it in his name. I reckon he would have done it himself anyway. :)
Now that we are able to replace older covers, im working hard on updating all of the standard case SCD covers.
When I started working on the slim versions I overhauled a lot of the covers with better looking art. I am now replacing some of the older covers with the overhauled versions. The have sharper and cleaner looking art. Also one thing that always ticked me is how I used a fake "Seal of Quality" on them, this is also getting replaced with a more real looking one.
I am going in alphabetical order, most of the As and Bs are already updated and the rest will come in the next few days.
To give you all an idea on how the covers will improve; Look at the differnece in the of the old Sewer Shark covers and how much better the slim version looks. the new full size cover will use this newer cleaner art and will incorporate the better looking Seal.
Excellent work VT. Now all we need is your JP Mega CD template. ;D
Hi guys.
These covers look great -- I'm seeing a few problems though. Some of these covers have dust and scratch marks on them from the original scans, and in a few cases, the scans of the shrinkwrapping have carried over. I'm actually a graphic designer, and am wondering if this community would be interested in me helping out to make these covers better. What can I do, and how can I do it?
By the way, that green Time Gal cover looks amazing. Where can I get it?
I'm more than thrilled to help you out. I'll see if I can find some better source material. Right now, I have a bunch of 200k scans @ 50dpi. If you or anyone else can supply better material, I'll start digging in on some of these. I'll even pick a few up off ebay for the ones that have some harsher covers. Let me know what I can do.

Everything on our site is at least 300dpi.... This is the minimum requirement.

I've used some REALLY lo-res source art before for some of my covers which actually ended up on the site. You'd be surprised. It's all in how you use it.

But good that you mention it because I suppose all your future covers will be checked by me now. ;D

Sorry Vt102, but NBA Hangtime 95 seems to be real. Less than savory sites are hosting it as a Sega CD game.Just because it's listed doesn't mean it was actually released. I looked it up as well and it appears to be an unreleased game.Code: [Select]Name Region Ref. ID

BAM! IT EXISTS!That still isn't proof that it was actually released. There's plenty of games that get reviewed but never get released.

"The ESPN2 mode is they way to go, with it's creative characters and backgrounds as well as a variety of playing styles unique to each team. Worth checking out; hey, how many other Sega CD B-Ball games are there?"
and here's what's definitely a scan of the case and not stock art:I think that takes the cake as being one of the rarest Sega CD games ever in that case! It just boggles my mind that there is so little information about this game despite it being released. I swore it was unreleased until you found that scan.

why is it not stock art? because why would stock art have a crack in the case?
Need any more proof X68000?No need to get confrontational, I was just being skeptical, that's all. :P
ESPN NBA HangTime '95 is actually the last Sega CD title I need to pick up to finish off my Sega CD collection.
In the past year, I've lost 2 eBay auctions for the title (and 2 because it only showed up twice in the past year).
Though, once I eventually pick this up (just a matter of time, in my opinion), I'll be more than happy to scan it, assuming someone else doesn't get to it first.
Found another NBA Hangtime on E-bay.
It's temporarily out of my price range but maybe someone is interested.
$65.00 in buy it now

Actually no.
I have been looking for this game for a while now.
Because of the Vt102 's post I went and bought the game, hence the thank you.

Don't forget to send us a RAW scan of the cover.. ;D
BTW: I Almost did not get the cover, because the seller was bit hesitant about sending the game overseas.
But he decided to take the risk.

You could have just had it mailed to me, problem solved :D
I'm really sorry about this, I'd been away for awhile and I thought that TSOLfan had found a copy of Hangtime 95' already and posted scans already or else I'd have put mine up earlier. Mine might not be the best quality, so you'd probably want to aggregate them with those from Arseen, but here they are anyway.

Again, really sorry I didn't check this earlier or I could've saved you the cash :(
w00t! Glad to see that this project can finally be marked as finished!
In other news, I started collecting Mega-CD games from Japan, so I don't know if you want to add covers for those as well.
I've only got about 10 games so far :3
I usually replace the rear seal with one matching the front. I find it that the darker seal looks a lot richer that the other.
In this case I forgot to do so. I'll make corrections and re-upload it.
Love these covers! Anyone know if there is a DVD cover for Scottie Pippen's Slam City for 32X CD (not just Sega CD)?
Any updates? :)
Also, I am finishing the update of all SCD covers that I originally added to the site a few years ago (update Sega seal and clean the covers). I still have about 30 or so to go.
I've been dedicating what little time I have to finishing off that part of the project but now I need some help. I am missing 3 raw scans in order to complete this. If anyone has the original BOX versions of Chuck Rock, Wonder Dog and Rise of the Dragon, please take a minute, Scan them and let me know where to get them from.
Scans are up on my website (ratigators.com). The front scans are all labeled 98, with the back being 99. They aren't in the zip files, as the zip files are manuals only. For Rise of the Dragon, there are 3 scans, since it was sealed and I couldn't lay the box flat to get the spine.
Also, to note, with Rise of the Dragon, there's some blurring on the back because the back isn't perfectly flat and I couldn't press it down, though, as a whole, it turned out better than I thought it was going to.
Lastly, grab these while you can. It seems someone has been reporting my MediaFire account the past couple of days (the only thing in it are my Sega scans), and I continue to get notices like "Due to it being distributed from your account, it has been removed. Also, a Strike has been placed against your account and can lead to a termination of service."
You would think someone would have something better to do than report my manual preservation projects.

Since Im at it, think you can scan the back of Monkey Island?
Now that we are able to replace older covers, im working hard on updating all of the standard case SCD covers.
When I started working on the slim versions I overhauled a lot of the covers with better looking art. I am now replacing some of the older covers with the overhauled versions. The have sharper and cleaner looking art. Also one thing that always ticked me is how I used a fake "Seal of Quality" on them, this is also getting replaced with a more real looking one.
I am going in alphabetical order, most of the As and Bs are already updated and the rest will come in the next few days.
