i am planning on buying a scanner but i dont know which brand is good so a little help would be hot

Get an HP, they are my preference. What model depends on your budget, but i have a $175 all in one device and it does great scans. Make sure it can do dpi of 600 or higher.

+1 for the HP.....
You can pick a scanner only model up for cheap,,, and they work really well.....

Yep ..... HP 5300C antique here and it still goes well  :)

I have an HP as well.  Think I might tax it out soon though after I go through the hundred or so scans I still need to do...
