I have recently uploaded a lot of N64 PAL labels to the site. Additionally, I still have approximately 70 US labels to be scanned etc and also uploaded.
This is in an effort to preserve the artwork for users who may have purchased an ex-rental cart with damaged labels and who want to use one of the available labeling devices to create a new label for their cart.
I will go thru the CAG Posts from 4tygames to see if I can find the link to the labeler device he uses and put a link up here.
As a side benefit of preserving these it will make the site the ultimate artwork repository for N64 ... not a bad thing at all IMHO :)
UPDATE: Approx 40 CAG pages later ..... here's 4tygames link to the labeler he uses .....

Whew. Got all but a couple posted so far.
-
Hehe .... only 70 more to go.
Don't worry .... still gotta scan most of those up so you're safe for a few days.
-
Did you upload a 2nd Goldeneye version?
-
I have just uploaded several US cart labels.
These are different in that they have ERSB rating boxes on them where PAL ones dont. Additionally several labels are different depending on artwork .... the US version of Earthworm Jim differs significantly from the PAL release for instance. Over to you whether we want to record both for prosperity. I would love to record the Japanese versions as well personally. That way we have the best collection of N64 art on the net. :)

Remember that Aerofighters Assault label from a long time ago?
I am currently at school right now and that label is on my desktop back at home. Do you have it? Maybe your box.net account?
If not, when I go back home in December I will upload it.
-
Yep .... I've uploaded that here already. I think Snowcone got a little confused when I upped the US version of Goldeneye [I already had the PAL one online] ... so they're in limbo at present.
-
UPDATE: I have scanned, cleaned up and uploaded another load of labels for US carts. Hopefully Snowcone will get them online in the near future. Still a heap to go......
-
I'm working on them. I had a huge server migration to do this weekend. I am still finishing that up so it'll be tomorrow before I can get any more online.
-
No worries at all. I assume you have the other ones I submitted earlier, including US Goldeneye, as they aren't in the ftp dir any longer?
UPDATE: I have now uploaded 48 US cart labels to FTP. This is in addition to the 76 PAL labels already submitted which should already be available on the site. I have cleaned them up removing blemishes etc so they should look great when printed out. Just use that Xyron labeller to create a new label for those ex-rentals etc.
I have another 13 carts to scan labels from and then I've completed all that I can at the present time. I had a few with ripped labels myself .... so if anyone has a Fighters Destiny, Gex 64, Indiana Jones and Deadly Arts cart with a good label could they scan the front at 300dpi and upload them somewhere.
Cheers ......
-
Small update ..... another 4 labels scanned and uploaded bringing the total to 52 US carts to date. I'll scan and upload one of the rear labels to just for reference as most video shops whack a sticker over those too ..... grrr!!!!
See previous post for labels I need for my rental / damaged carts.
Once I have all my labels uploaded I'll compile a list of the one's still needed in case you guys can help out in obtaining them.
-
Alrighty then.....
All my labels are now uploaded to the FTP site for Snowcone to integrate into the cover site .... some 60 in total. Allowing for duplicates that should give us approximately 1/3rd of all the games for N64 if PAL included. Not bad for one person eh?
Still ...plenty of work to do getting the rest. That's where you guys come in. I'll compile a list of labels still needed for both US carts and in total seperately. Once that's up here can you go through your collections and scan missing ones so we can start filling in the blanks?
Cheers ......

Well, when (if) I get home, I will add mine to the project. You already have a list of what I have, I will also add the manuals I have that you do not. (If, in fact I have any that you don't have..... :) )
-
SMMM uploaded a group of labels to raw scan site. 2 we already have but I cleaned the other 6 up and uploaded them to FTP. I have deleted the raw scans as they are no longer needed as a result.
That means Snowcone now has 80 odd labels still to be added to the site. Hehe ... that'll keep him busy.
-
I added all the ones you posted the other day. :)
