Title: Guide on How to add UGC Format to UndercoverXp
Post by: xxdeszarasxx on January 11, 2011, 05:46:36 PM
For those of you who dont know what UndercoverXp is: UndercoverXP is a small program to easily print CD and DVD covers. It supports JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP formats and can automatically scale front covers, back covers, front + inside, inlays, DVD Boxes, Digital Pictures and CD/DVD labels to the correct sizes. Other formats can be easily added via a graphical format editor "wich is what i'm going to show you in this little Guide".

Word: In this tutorial i'm going to explain in a step by step how to add the Universal Game Cases Format to UndercoverXp, wich i think is alot easier for both printing and cutting your cover.

1. First of all we need to go to Options and select Format Editor

2. In the Format editor screen we need to add a new Format and give it a name while we're at it ;)

3. Next we need to change both the Left and Right position to Automatic instead of Manual, After that we need to change the Size of the Format wich is W: 179.0 x H: 281.0 like shown in the image below.

4. Now we need to use the Add line button
(http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/9158/naamloos3v.png)

5. In these screen we need to add both Vertical "Left & Right" and Horizontal "Top & Bottom" lines for the cutting, and it's up to you if you want the lines Solid or Dashed.

6. Your new created format should look like the image shown below.

Final: now your able to print 2 covers one after the other, plus you dont need to constantly resize them to print them.

Hope you guys like this little tutorial/guide for dummies.
