This song reminds of an other song but can't get to mind what: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDxkKOwelYc
It's not Mark 'oh Tears don't lie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfuPuLcAmL8
It's not Taiska's Mombasa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcEnFwvDGt0
Help me remember the other song. Those two are somewhat close, but the song I'm looking for is almost exactly the same to Soleado.
It might be even Soleado by someone else (probably is) , but who?
Come to think I think the song I'm looking for had words, just can't remember any.
-
Soleado is the original song. That one was covered in 1974 by great German artist Michael Holm as "Tränen lügen nicht". Mark 'Oh's version from the 90s was a cover of "Tränen lügen nicht" .
I'm pretty sure that's what you're looking for

I think the version I was looking is in English (might have been in Finnish), but that is nice version also.
Starting to think it might have been Mark' oh after all.

Hahaha, yeah. Happens to me too, right in the middle of a conversation my counterpart would look at me and ask "what the hell are you saying, I don't understand a word". That's the moment I realize I talk in Finnish iinstead of English. But these languages are so damn close. :D
No seriously, too bad that wasn't the version you're looking for. I'm sure there's a whole lot of covers of this song and maybe even more that just use the melody but have a different title :(

Never done that. ;D Maybe because besides Finnish and English I only speak or understand Swedish and bit of Spanish, so switchin from one foreign language to another is hard, and switching from foreign language my native language, or other way around, doesn't happen so easily.
But I have seen that happen once: One Austrian doctor I know started speaking to me in English, got really excited explaining something and didn't realize that he switched into German!!!
But these languages are so damn close. :D
no, no, NO >:( ... ;D
But some others do sound like Finnish, like:
Indian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RradOrYKF8U
Turkish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lo_edXUlrT8

Yeah I keep looking.

This is closest one for what I'm looking for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8R67wHD_FY (Not exactly correct version)
Also in Finnish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijq6eeoCX5Q

there's nothing even remotely correct about charlotte church!
-
No, not the singer. I meant the song.
This is even closer the version I'm looking for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CQ4OQ6Ee8I

Do I have to know her coming from outside of England? ;D

damn you... know I'm going to be thinking about this for days.....
edit: I am insane if I say that some parts in the song remind me of a Final Fantasy music reorchestrated, maybe Symphonic Suite or another CD.
