Hey guys, long time lurker, and I decided I'd finally register and start contributing. Ever since 2008 I've been making my own Dreamcast cases not based on any templates here, and I've made almost 100, so I decided I'd start sharing them. Don't expect a sudden influx of new covers though, as I'm displeased with some of them and am slowly redoing some completely and tweaking others.
This is an excellent community, and you guys have helped to alleviate a lot of my game organization woes.

Looking forward to your DC covers.

Welcome to the project.
As far as Dreamcast games go I think we decided a long time ago that the "white spine/white back" and "orange spine/black back" are the standard for our site so all covers should be made using those.

It was a very long, heated and exhausting discussion with a poll and everything. Just read it and then you'll know what our standard for DC covers is.

That doesn't mean you have to scrap your template and redo everything in our template.
You are free to create a cover for any game you like in any template/style you like, but for consistency's sake please create a version in on of our templates.
It's not mandatory, just a gentleman's agrrement, out of courtesy. Just think of all the people using one of our templates to make their collection look uniform. When you make a cover you might be using a different image for the front and other people might like your cover more than one of our existing covers. They sure would love to have your artwork being used with the template all their other games are in.

Yeah I lurked that whole debate...

I'll see what I can do with this. I snagged a template off of the site here and modified it to my liking. Initially, I used the same height info bar on the back, but as I like to try to keep the original artwork and only modify it slightly, as I started redoing them I modified it to approximately Gamecube height. Since they were meant for my personal preferences, I used the blue PAL logo, I just prefer it since it seems more Sega so to speak :p
Anywho, I thought I'd see if any of my covers popped up on google images and I just found out that DChelp has mirrored them all without my permission.
Since they did that and I can't find anyone to contact about removing them, you can look at the old design here, on their bandwidth dime (not that I pay for Photobucket's bandwidth either): http://dchelp.net/artwork/v/dreamcastdvd/revivedc/ (http://dchelp.net/artwork/v/dreamcastdvd/revivedc/)
(Those may or may not be there when you look, I lodged my complaint in the forums)
I stopped uploading quite a while ago, and my work has improved a lot, so, don't judge future submissions by those please!
