Title: MegaCD European (UK) covers and manuals
Post by: FenlandRetro on August 26, 2023, 03:06:50 PM
I'm wanting to make place holders for the games I don't have yet and the manuals that are missing for the ones I do.

I'm struggling to find many of the orginal CD case covers for the double CD cases that our MegaCD games came in and virtually zero manuals. They all seem to be the Sega CD ones for those of you on the other side of the pond.

Can anyone assist with a download of some description that I can get to print these out?

Thanks

Might be helpful to post a list of what you need.   I don’t have many but can scan if on your list.

Hi,

Thanks for the offer. Final fight CD, Shining Force CD and Ecco are the ones I could do with now but Ideally I'd like to have a full shelf of cases for aesthetic reasons and would be great to be able to print out the covers and manuals for them.

If i were in the USA I'd have no problems doing what I want but UK covers and manuals are virtually non existent online.

I'd recommend looking around the Sega Retro wiki. They've got a ton of raw cover scans for basically anything published on a Sega console.
They're typically good quality, outside of rare exceptions (and manual scans are kinda spotty for EU Mega-CD. If it doesn't have a little PDF on the thumbnail, it's just the front cover.)

I managed to find EU scans for the three games on your short list pretty quickly:

Shining Force CD

Final Fight CD

Ecco CD

Anything else you're looking for, you should hopefully find at least part of it there.
