I've slimmed down my PS1 collection quite a bit, but I was thinking taking some of my games like Star Ocean: The Second Story and making a PS3 cover for it. I've had varying successes with doing this myself, mostly failing. So I'm hoping to find out if someone is already doing this and I just didn't find the thread maybe?
Any thoughts?

Wow, oddly enough, I actually was messing around with this Idea, but I never posted anything mostly because I figured that there wouldn't be much interest in it due to the low availability of PS3 cases. Anyways, what I came up with looked like this:

May have thought of this idea before, but haven't really put time into it because of the fact that most already have hundreds of DVD cases dedicated to PS1 game. Maybe if you've yet to case your collection this is still a good idea but I'll probably stick with my DVD cases at the moment :P

I've actually seen one other PS1 game done with PS3 cases - it was instead using the vertical style, like the old PS3 covers. I remember it was in the uploads folder, back when we could access it. I think the game itself was that game that had the red head on the cover with steam coming out it's ears - can't remember the name.

It would be neat if ppl did this for PS1 games on PSN. I'd love to have custom covers for my PSN PS1 purchases sitting right next to my PS3 games. :D

While a part of me would like to do this (and I have more than enough PS3 cases to do so - I got tons from Blockbuster when they'd throw them away), I just don't have the space. I'm currently converting all my PS1 games (and most all my games, in fact) to slim cases because I'm running out of space.

I like the idea and I wish I had more PS3 cases to do it.
Converting PSOne covers to PS3 boxes would be pretty easy, unlike converting them to PS2 boxes. I would assume that the PSOne game manuals would fit pretty will inside the case too.
