Took a trip up to central Illinois on Saturday and hit up a few stores. This puts me at 401/706 for the Genesis set (I started the official count). Also checked out a local comic con Sunday and grabbed a couple ToyBiz figures.

^^  Nice.  I never did get into Genesis collecting, but they do look awesome all lined up.  Good luck with your quest.

GameStop had a B1G1 on select new titles, and I went a little nuts.  Most of these are for my kids, but Metroid is for me.

Today I bought beltsander, floorboards and 10 liters of wallpaint.
As my main renovation is ready enough I decided (with strong encouragement from my parents ;D) to refinish the floors of my bedroom hence beltsander. I'll also close the floor trapdoor that used to go from downstairs play room to my bed room hence the floorboards.
Wallpaint you can figure out by yourselves.

I also recieved two wardropes (two door and three door) and matching top cabinets that will go to my 3rd room (haven't decided yet what it will be. Study? Mini kitchen? Game room? Spare bedroom? All above = Mancave?

Some find from the flea market over the weekend.

Apparently the one cart is a EA Review / Test cart.  How it ended up at a flea market in the great STL area is beyond me.

Just got this in the mail yesterday. Don't even have or want a real SNES/ SFC anymore. I did find a way to use the mouse on the SNES Classic Edition. So that's what I got it for.

We don't have a scan of this one on the site, do we? (https://i.ibb.co/hMGBkWk/20230822-132838.jpg)

EDIT: This came in the mail today. It's just a replica box with no game from Etsy, but it's "cute". Small boxes released only in Europe/ Hong Kong. There's at least 40 of them like this. Actually working on replicas for the site, but not sure what size case they'd fit. Any ideas? Pretty much the size of an NES cart.

Size comparison. I don't have any NES carts around and I think the Lion King/ Aladdin box is the same size as a standard SNES box (and I think NES box as well).

It's been a long time since I've posted here and a long time since I've been able to grow my collection, but man what a week! I know someone who was cleaning out their basement and asked if I wanted to buy a case of ~20 NES games, an NES advantage, power pad, and Quickshot joystick for $100. Why not, I say, and go ahead and buy it. Going through the games, it's mostly a bunch of common or shovelware titles. But then, lo and behold, I find these two absolute gems amongst the rest!

They don't appear to really ever have been played with and, since they were in that box for so many years, they're in extremely good condition! I'm so excited that it made me print out a couple covers for the first time in probably about 5 years   ;D

Just a couple of finds from a local flea market over the weekend. Finally picked up El Shaddai since it's being delisted. Also found a nice CIB copy of Tetris DS at a Gamestop.
