Hi Guys, first post here!
I've been lurking in the forms and on the main website for a while and noticed a distinct lack of PAL covers.
Whatever ones I could find were either low res, damaged, scuppered by labels or in general requiring too much effort to digitally mend.
So I decided to do what any sane person would and try my hand and recreating some of my favourites (god help me :'( )
I'm by no means a professional, and in some cases I was unable to source the exact screenshots or other assets for some of these, but I think I've done a pretty decent job overall.
Feel free to take a look, and use them for your own collections. I'm happy to take any feedback onboard if anyone wants to give any (or even help me make some more!).

Nice quality, but I question why you chose that spine rather than the side with the game title to restore.

The PAL boxes don't typically have the titles on their spines except in rare instances (left or right side). My goal is to make it look as authentic to the originals as possible.

I guess. If that's what you are going for. But the shelves will be UGLY. I'd at least replace that white box with a blank white box with the game title.

I'm not actually planning to print them. They're for my frontend, so the spines don't matter as much.
This is unique to the game boy line I believe. I don't think any other PAL game boxes were as lax on the spines.
My DS recreations came out looking a lot better.

Please, don't steal my covers and rebrand them as your own "recreations".
You did almost nothing to that cover, apart from that spine. (The backside is completly stolen from my cover and the front is from pidgi.net, which I also alerted you to by the way...)
Second of all what is the point of all this?
Apart from those stupid spines, your covers also have a completly wrong size and don't fit into any case. (They are 3000 x 1367 pixel overall, with a 246 pixel spine.)

Yours was in a better state than mine. I couldn't source the exact image used on the back cover, so I went for the next best thing, apologies if you've taken offense to it.
If it bothers you, DM me and I'll remove it.

A) I've found Pidgi to be the best source for the original European covers, why reinvent the wheel? I don't see this as something to chastise me for, they don't own them.
B) Alerted me to what? To my knowledge, I've never spoken to you before now. Please elaborate.

As stated previously, to be used in frontends (Launchbox etc). I have no plans to print these.

Rude and unnecessary. How is aiming for authenticity stupid? I can't claim them to be 'recreations' if I start making custom spines.

Sourcing the original dimensions for the GBA boxes has been a paint point for me. I can't find anything that will give me widths and heights in pixels. If you can be generous enough to provide them, I'd happily make adjustments for new covers. I've had to eyeball it so far using the covers I could find on mobygames.
