I was bored and decided to create some custom cases for my childhood GB and GBA games, a user on thingiverse named MandiDawnn (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4574803) had files for these.
I've altered the covers so they looked nicer on the white cases (I don't have dark grey filament and don't feel the need to paint them atm)
All of these cases were found on www.thecoverproject.net, except for dora, I had to make that one myself.
Unfortunately, I didn't take the best care of these games as a child, so only 3 out of the 7 I own work. that's why you see the little "broken title" label i made for them.
These cases are different dimensions to the cover project covers, so I had to squeeze them into the right dimensions for these cases.
The placement and sizing of these covers aren't perfect, bet they get the job done for myself hah.

I do plan on updating the looks of these in the future, might paint them a dark grey, use the original covers from the cover project, and create an insert that says "broken title" with some info rather than cover up some of the cover itself with that little label.
This was a fun little side project, since all of my other games had cases, why not? it also gave my 3d printer something to do.

Interesting... 8)
How much would you questimate one case costs to make?

I'd say pretty cheap, I could see one case sell for 4$ to 6$
they'd probably look a tad bit nicer than these tbh.

Hey væk, I am catching interest in 3d printing and these are just so cool! What printer model types would you suggest I start with ?

Hey nihtendo, sorry for the late reply. I'm somewhat new to 3D printing myself, I have an Ender 3 V2 and I've had a good time with it so far, one thing I realized while starting out was 3d printing takes time. yu gotta be pretty patient with your prints haha.
